SKM Grout Aide Grout and Tile Marker (Pewter) - 33 Colors Available

The media could not be loaded.  This was so easy to use and the color was a perfect match to my Lenox Grey tiles from Floor & Decor. I was looking for a more seamless look on my kitchen floor, but was talked into getting a grout color that was way too light to begin with. I was considering ripping out all the grout and starting over until someone recommended I try to color the grout instead. I'm so glad I found these pens! I tried the grout restore product with color from Mapei, but it wasn't quite the color I wanted and it was very messy. These pens worked like magic! I don't know how long the color will last, but I bought 2 more in case I can't find any later on.

This is exactly the color I was wanting. Have light gray grout and someone spilled oil on some of it and it will not come out. This pen covered it and so all I have to do is put it on the rest of the grout !

Not even near the color I thought it would be

I bought four to do a 170 square foot kitchen. I love the fact I could redo our grout lines without replacing the floor. First, I tested an area, and it looked great, but I scrubbed the areas to be marked with a grout brush prior to doing the whole kitchen, and one of the spots I tested came off, so I'm leary to scrub it again in the same way. Then, the projet started. I knew it would be a massive color the lines project anyway with everything working accordingly, but only two of the markers flowed smoothly like they were supposed to. We had to do a lot of creative handling to get the paint out of the other two. In the end, we cut open the end of the marker, poured the paint out, and dabbed the nib of the other markers in it to use. This worked well. There was alot of paint left in the markers even the ones we thought we had used up. Also, the nibs wear down fairly quickly. It would be nice if the seller included additional ones to use. They are removable and reversible, but we still wore them down to nubs. The floor looked great when we were done, but there is a slight inconsistency in the color. We used the pewter grey, but there are color variants. I'm not sure if it would be solved with buying all you needed at one time or not because I bought two and then realized I needed two more.
