This is a very good starting place for people who are interested in learning a foundation and does a good job giving a good foundation on the history as well.Lots of good information for someone looking into starting this journey. Easy to read and understand.While I found the book understandable, the text has a lot of grammatical errors in later chapters. As a result, some parts of the book are confusing and difficult to interpret. It almost feels rushed in the later chapters. This text definitely needed a better editor.

Especially the very last two sentences in the whole book gave me a g water understanding into what to practice. How solitary, religion or all there of. And mainly a positive mindset vs witchcraft. For me it’s always been about undoing the Christian labels that have have given more emanation than good.

Really appreciated the explanations revolving others perspectives throughout history. As well as what Wicca is and where it originated from.

I ordered this book for my very intelligent 13 year old. We aren't a "religious" household, I was born and raised in Mormonism but in my preteens I began to question it along with ALL religions. I wanted to know and understand why people feel the need to have religion, what does each provide and also break down all the deception of others. Hence why presently I am not involved in any religions. I studied some Wiccan and Paganism in my search and found out what lies I was fed regarding it. When my daughter started asking questions regarding the craft I saw this as an opportunity to give my daughter the chance to come up with her own opinions on the matter. So far she is impressed on the Wiccan creed and how it is not at all like the rumors describe. She states that this book gives so much insight and knowledge on Wiccan and she is considering proceeding in its practice. And whatever path she chooses I will always be by her side as her unconditional loving Mother.

The book is pretty cool and wonderfully organized.

I'm a baby witch! I've been looking for something to start me off. This book gives a comprehensive look into the religion. It's a toe dip rather than submersion. Granted you may wanna have prior knowledge before reading, it's still good in my opinion. The author doesn't use overly complicated words to convey what they're trying to get across. Some of the content is lore heavy, be warned, but a great book overall.

I think there was a lot of topics covered at least enough to get you started in the research journey which is great for a new person!

Very informative, basic concepts. Many spelling mistakes in the kindle version hope they’re not in the printed version because it hinders reading. Auch a shame.
