Run of the mill stamp and pad
I feel a little guilty giving this a rating of 3/5 as it does exactly what the description says, however I'm a little disappointed as I was expecting something more rather than a standard stamp and ink pad that's used in offices. I could have bought the individual parts much cheaper from staples and tesco but we live and learn. No fault of the seller, the description is spot on, it's entirely down to me not paying enough attention. I'd have given it a higher rating had I thought it was better value for money.

Good stamping set
The date stamp is very easy to use and very clear, even shows up on dark brown eggs. The ink does get soaked up quite a bit, so may have to top up with ink fairly often. Overall would recommend, although we now use another egg stamp with our producer number on it and the other stamp is self-inking and is incredible!

2/3 of the kit is ok...
The ink is food safe and the stamp is fit for purpose, but the pad is terrible quality. The lid is a rubbish fit so I can easily understand other buyers complaining that the pad dries out quickly. Am currently looking for a better pad.

Not great on the egg
This came leaking slightly and when I applied it to the eggs it was not readable albeit I did not press too hard for fear of cracking the egg. It was fine on the egg boxes

date only.slightly disappointing
we was a little disappointed with this as all it has is the date we were hoping for symbols also to identify the eggs as ours. - as you see on shop bought eggs.
