S14 Court Combat Handball Gloves (Large)

These gloves were great. I've had them for years. Started to tear a little on the seams due to high activity but they're still going strong.

I've used these gloves between 15 and 20 times and they are tearing at the seams. When I first got the gloves and showed them to my handball buddies, they also ordered some, 4 pairs. Their gloves are also tearing at the seams. I'm 74 years old and had a hip replacement about a year ago. so I'm not playing the way I did when I was young. In other words these gloves are very poorly made.

Switching to these gloves was like climbing out of a Honda Civic and into a Mercedes SLK. They won't turn you into David Chapman, but you'll appreciate the attention to detail in the design. Main benefits: far more comfortable and breathable (mesh air slits on the sides of the fingers--nice touch), and a far more secure and comfortable wrist/strap design. Only thing I don't love...the Velcro on the strap is a touch too thick for the loop, which makes them a slight bother to take off. But an altogether outstanding product.

Unfortunately my finger ripped through the top of the glove the very first day. There is mesh at the top and if you scrape the ground the right way you'll have a finger sticking out permanently.

I had used cotton liners inside my gloves since the time I started playing about 15 years ago. I started playing with the EDTL gloves for a month and I am very happy. They are comfortable and I have a good feel for the ball. I wish I had tried them sooner.
