This is the best bottle cage I have owned
The material is strong enough and lite enough to hold a small aluminum water bottle. At the same time the material is soft enough not to scratch up the finish on my aluminum water bottle. All of the aluminum ones are too ridged and too scratchy. The fake carbon fiber cages still seem to scratch the painted aluminum bottles. Going forward this is my go to water bottle cage.

Works fine, hard nylon like plastic.
A few sentences added to this products description would help it out a lot. This cage is not metal, it's a hard nylon like plastic. Both a RIGHT and a LEFT version are available, but that direction is dependent of where the cage is mounted. If you mount it to the downtube (the slanting tube right behind the wheel) a RH cage releases right, and LH version releases left as you are seated on the bike. If you mount it on the seat tube then they are reversed, RH releases left and LH on the right. They are opposite because the bosses face different directions. So if you get two of these to mount in a bikes triangle on an average street or road bike and want them to release on the same side, get one of each. Most all water bottles will fit this, however smaller bottles may not fit tightly and overly large bottles may fit extremely tight or not at all. It will fit most 'regular' bottles. Unlike metal cages there is no bending to tighten or loosen them. Some have sanded the outer lip a little to make then easier to release.I have an ebike with a battery on the downtube that makes the one and only bottle boss location on the seat tube, the boss is also a bit high to clear the battery so the old fashioned metal cages make it real difficult to pull or place the bottle, especially while moving. These work well. And look great. Good price too.

Quality product
It does not come with the machine screws to attach to your bike. Other than that, it’s great for the price

Holds bottles firmly.
It does just what it's supposed to, and at a decent price.I bought this because I sometimes use a half-frame bag on my gravel bike, and a "normal" bottle cage made getting the bottle out and replacing it difficult, even if technically possible. A side-loading cage feels odd to use at first, but is quite effective. This particular one mounts easily, looks good, and holds the bottle well, even on bumpy roads. I'm sure a range of bottles would fit, but I'm using the "plain" 16 oz water bottles from REI. Price is pretty fair for what it is. I didn't weigh it, but honestly, by the time I have my hydration plan worked out, saddle bag, frame bag, and fat-ish tires, I'm not too worried about a couple grams. Read description carefully to get the version (right or left opening) that you want. I mounted on the down-tube, and bottle comes out/goes in to the right. If I put the same cage on the seat tube, it would be left-opening. It's obvious if you think about it, but I figured I'd mention it.

Just get this is you want the best.
Light, durable and strong. Install was super easy and getting a water bottle in and out is even easier with the prefect positioned side open. No worries about the hold at all as it will hold a full bottle on the bike trails and ontop of your car at 90mph. Overall 10/10

Perfect bottle cage setup for my Siskiu T8
Needed an affordable side-pull bottle cage for my Polygon Siskiu T8 for shorter rides where I didn't feel like strapping on my hip-pack, this fit the bill. Seems very sturdy and grips the bottle well. Due to clearance of the rear shock, could only fit a 20oz/600ml bottle. I just went ahead and bought a couple of the Lezyne Flow 600ml bottles and they fit absolutely perfect (would highly recommend using this style of bottle with the large indentation on neck). I have one of the taller Camelback Podium bottles as well, which I test fit in this; It fit but not enough clearance for the shock, also the Podium bottle doesn't have the large indentation for the cage to grip onto so I wouldn't be confident of it staying put on chunky descents, large drops or jumps...this setup I'm running with the Lezyne cage and Lezyne bottle handles all of that with ease!

My favorite bottle cage
Very light. Easy to access bottle from preferred side. Never had a bottle fall out even on extremely rough trails. Does scuff up bottles a bit over time, but all cages seem to do that in my experience.

Check your sides!
Right side - The bottle enters from the right side as you face the cage. When mounted on the seat tube, you need to use your left hand. Make sure you order the correct orientation for your setup. I ordered the wrong side and had to exchange it.I knew I needed a side entry cage because my new eBike is very tight between the tubes. I knew no cage would hold the lager Camelback bottles on my bike because of the lack of clearance above the mounted cage. I could expand the holes on this cage just a bit to drop it down. It holds a Polar Insulated bottle perfectly. Looks great, holds great and does the job perfectly for me.

Does not hold waterbottle snug
does not grip bottle, slides out easily with a bump, the bottle does not sit flush with the cage either... side loading is a great idea, but badly executed for long term hold. the plastic is too flexible.

Does the job
I bought this for my grandson's 7th Birthday for his new bike. His dad fitted it to the bike without any difficulty and the bottle I bought to go with it fits it well.

Bottle falls out
Bottle started falling out after a few weeks of use. Fell out while cycling without me noticing due to side-loading.
