buyer beware!
Beware of these filters. I bought a four pack thinking i would have 2 years worth of fresh drinking water. After installing the first filter i ran the water for a good while and checked the filter for leaks. During the night the filter seal leaked and ruined the wood floor in my kitchen. I am wishing i had paid the extra money for the GE filters.

Does not replace GE FQK1K as described
These filters do NOT work as a replacement for GE FQK1K filters. They are slightly smaller and don't seal/seat properly in the filter. They do not work as a replacement to GE FQK1K filters.

I like the fact that I can get these at quite a reduced price of the same name brand filter.

Good filter
The media could not be loaded. I like that they arrived early and great for the price. Easy to install. I didn't like that when I turn on the faucet, the water dribbles out. No pressure anymore. Maybe it's my filtration system but it didn't do that before

Not as advertised
Was advertised to replace GE GXRLQR filter, it does not! Purchased the 4 pack so i wouldnt have to worry about it for a while. Waited too long to replace, now im stuck with the product.
