Not really suitable for UK use
This item is not really suitable for the UK so I am unable to offer a fair review about it's performance as I could not get it working. The item seems to only work if you have a push type of switch and not a rocker type as we have in the UK.I am fully aware that this unit requires a Neutral connection and I fit them at the ceiling rose end in the loft where there is access to the neutral circuit.I have used the Non-Dimmer version of these units and they work perfectly. However with the dimmer version they are wired in a slightly different way with one less live wire. The way it appears to operate with a separate light switch is that the unit requires a quick pulse of electricity, obtained when you press and release the push type switch, to change the state of light on-off-on-off etc. With the standard rocker type switch this can only be obtained if you throw the switch on and off quickly to mimic the short pulse of electricity to the unit. By doing this you change the state of the light from on to off or off to on depending on its state at the time.To manually dim or brighten the lights you hold the push type switch down to give a longer burst of electricity until the lights dim or brighten to your required level. You cannot do this with the UK rocker type switches. You also press and hold the push type switch to access the control of the unit to set it up with the APP so I could never achieve this to set them up. So they were no good and I never managed to get the unit working.I have returned the item and now trying a wifi dimmer switch instead. Luckily I am able to change the twin and earth cable to the light switch with a 4 core cable with ease from above and add the neutral wire. Not everybody will be able to do this and therefore need to rely on this type of unit.If you purchase this item be aware that you will need to change the light switch to a push type switch and not the UK standard rocker type. These switches are available in the UK and are the type you may see on electric doors to release the doors as you exit.

Difficult if you want to use a switch
This works well with Alexa but I was asked to add a switch, I can make it work to turn the lights on but can only use Alexa to turn them off which is annoying. This may be down to I'm having to use a remote switch as there's no power to that part of the room.

Get the right switch and Wi-Fi network and neutral wire.
You can only use this with a retractive light switch. That’s also called a push switch. When you press it pops back up. Like an exit button in modern buildings. The usual rocker switches we have in the U.K., that stay on or off won’t work.THis will only appear on your phone for configuration if you are connected to a 2.4ghz network, you will need to disable your 5ghz network, not easy when you have a mesh Wi-Fi network. It’s rated for 150W due to the 10 percent rule that means just 3x 5w bulbs. You will need a neutral wire available. I already had the smart app on my phone, do that was easy, as was linking to Alexa. It works well, no complaints wish it could handle more than 150W.If you follow the above then it will “just” work and it will save yourself hours of frustration. Believe me.
