this game was so much fun to play with my 2 year old grandson. He whacked with all his might and the game played on! Lots of laughs. And i became addicted and played secretly without him!! Shhhh

The product is pretty durable. My disappointment was the fact the frogs don't move up and down as you hit them, all they do is light up. This was bought for my great grandson who is now 20 months old. He can hit them but can't handle the hammer well, and don't really understand the concept yet and which one to hit or why. I think this game should be geared to maybe a 3 yr. - 6 yr. old. Would be a nice game family game to play with one's who understand the concept. I don't think I would gift this item again. I would look into one that worked like the original game where the frogs go up and down if there is one like that on the market. Didn't realize this didn't work that way until after I purchased and gifted it.

Lovely frog! Good early development Toy. My nephew and niece like it very much! This frog toy is loud enough to keep kids engaged and interested but not too loud.

I bought this for my 2 & 1/2 year old grandson. He’s not developed cognitively enough to understand the object of “hit the frog with the light” ( yet ) but it’s definitely worth the value I paid for it. It’s made for kids 3-7 yrs old. I recommend not to purchase for kids under 3.

The mallet is too soft, so you have to push down on it hard enough to squash the soft part down to the hard part to be able to push a frog down.

It is a super adorable game that my daughter and I both love to play together! The only down side is sometimes you hit a frog and it doesn't register so you have to either bang it uncomfortablely hard with the toy hammer or it counts as a miss. 3 misses and game over so it did upset my 4 y.o who wasn't understanding why sometimes it worked and sometimes it missed.

My 3yr old loves this toy....but i think i like it more than he does haha.... Great way to teach patience and hand eye coordination
