Headlamp,Best 18650 LED (headlamp1)

An OK headlight that is almost what I really wanted. Very bright white spotlight, a less powerful spotlight, and a too dim (for night time reading without disturbing sleeping spouse) red light are adequate for the price. If the second white light setting provided a more diffuse 'flood' light and if there were a second, significantly brighter red light setting it would be perfect.

So far this Flagship headlamp has been great, but not sure about the longevity of it yet. But, I have to say, I did order another one because even if it doesn't last as long as we all hope things should last, for the price it's a great headlamp, and I'll have a backup one ready. I like the way the batteries load with the entire compartment folding out. I had a more expensive one that loaded from the end, which was harder to replace batteries, and broke after the 3rd time of trying to replace batteries. I like the feel of the strap on the head, it's wide and comfortable, and the light adjusts up or down with an easy tilt. It's plenty bright enough on high for what I use it for, which is doing outside chores and feeding the animals in the dark. It has a flashing mode with both white or red light which would be good for bike riders in the dark, or if your car breaks down on the side of the road at night and you're out trying to change a tire and you want to alert other motorist to avoid you or maybe you need to flag down help. It would be great for camping, or even to have handy for power outages. For the price, it's possible to keep several of these lights around in various places ready for handy use.

This is about as cheap a headlamp you can find price-wise but has just about everything you could ask for (not waterproof). I have purchased Petzl and Black Diamond and while they are great brands, you are paying for the name at times. Neither have the features this has and were 3x to 4x the price. The brightness on full is amazing as I could see for what seemed 100+yds on hikes and in campgrounds. The strobe action on both white light and red and great too. Headband is easily adjusted and very comfortable. Just couldn't be happier for a lamp under $10. Durability is unknown at this point but it takes (3) AAA, which I always have on me, nothing exotic there. If this thing breaks-down in the coming weeks/months, I'll adjust my review. I'm used to buying Black Diamond Headlamps, and as everyone knows they're pretty expensive. My Black Diamond headlamps would constantly have something wrong with them. For the price I was paying I expected a much more durable product. Also, the more options you wanted the higher the price. My Flagship-X GExpeditions headlamp came with different color options which I love. I'm color blind, so everything I buy for backpacking is bright, which usually isn't an option with other brands. Another thing I loved was how they separated the red and white light with separate buttons. Usually you have to cycle through a bunch of settings but no so with my Flagship-X headlamp. The brightness is spot on. I compared it to my Black Diamond spot and it was definitely brighter. The Flagship headlamp was cheaper than the piece of crap Energizer lamps you find at Walmart that I'd pick up from time to time in a pinch. It was so cheap I decided to test it by dropping it a couple times and nothing changed. In my opinion there is no way you can find a more quality headlamp for the money!

I really like that it had two separate buttons for the red and white lights and you can combine them in any way you like (i.e. bright white and flashing red). Otherwise feels like a thoroughly decent light, especially at the price point (says "insane sale" but remains to be seen if that sale is actually temporary or permanent.) High mode seems quite bright for a headlamp, but not stunningly so. Headband seems like decent elastic. Batteries are easy to install and change. I will update this review if I have new finding, especially if there are any future issues or disappointments.

Bought 2 of these. One works perfectly and the other one flickers on high beam until the batteries get a bit of wear on them. If it were not for that, I would have given the product 5 stars. We use them for walking the dog at night and, for that, the light they put out is just right. Many other headlights I have checked out have a lot higher light output than these but, for the money and the purpose, these are really great.

Nice little headlamp. Passed the "round-the-house" tests with flying colors. It can be angled down - a big plus when you don't want to blind your friends while talking to them. Another nice feature is two separate buttons - one for red and one for regular bulb - you don't have to cycle through to get to the lighting mode you want. It's bright enough for normal usage - it is not a flashlight replacement, just its complementHaven't dip it in water but look like it can survive splash, rain, and momentarily submerged. Overall, I like this headlamp, so far.

I just got this in today. I turned it on and immediately noted how bright the white LED's are. I'm definitely going to look forward to working on projects outdoors at night with this product. Even the dim setting for the white LED is incredibly bright. Standing in the lit kitchen, I could easily discern the light output from the lamp. The red light is a nice function, as well. Definitely recommended. I will update if something breaks or if the light seems to consume excessive power.
