First indoor aerial I've tried which actually works!
I've bought a few indoor aerials in the past and I've ended up returning every single one of them. We are some way from the transmitter and I think that makes it tricky. I saw this being sold by Amazon and they make returns easy so I thought I had nothing to lose by trying it.As you can see by the photo, it's fairly large and not a thing of great beauty. I stuck it on the window as I thought that was the best chance of picking up at least something. I'm not sure I want to leave it there forever. As it actually works, I may move it at some point and try on the wall.I plugged it in, with the included amplifier as I thought "no chance" without (even our roof aerial needs a signal booster). It was pretty easy to plug in but the amplifier does need a source of power and a power socket isn't included. This wasn't a worry for me as I have a USB socket on my TV so I plugged it into that, but it's worth noting.I turned the TV on and set it to tune. It found 109 channels and 23 radio channels. The quality is sharp and the picture is actually better than the TV which is plugged into our roof aerial. I am just gobsmacked. I'm sitting here saying "it actually works! It actually works!" and my husband is laughing at me. We've only ever used this TV as a smart TV before but now I have freeview too. We've drawn the conclusion that technology has moved on over the years - last indoor aerial I tried was 2-3 years ago - and we probably should look at either investing in a better roof aerial or getting rid of it and getting another of these. All of these aerials have mixed reviews - I read a lot before I bought this and this one seemed better than a lot - but I can only say that this worked well for me and as I live at the foot of a lot of hills and a probably 40-50 miles from the transmitter, I'm Not in the easiest area.

easy setup
I had been using the same indoor aeria for past 10 years and when i moved thatno loger worked. Saw this one and a few others, and thought this suited my new place more. Sure enough the signal is great, and picks up all the freeview channels, so all good.I do need to warn you though, if there is a road outside, and you have this mounted on the window. The signal may drop a bit when certain vehicles go past. Not sure if that due to the vehicle or just the vibrations on the window caused by it.I live on a quiet road where vehicles pass couple times a day, so not really an issueAll in all great buy .

Simply stunning
I bought this aerial with low expectations. I recall past attempts at internal aerials, which seemed to consist primarily of a wire coat-hanger and a piece of tin foil – and which were invariably useless. But I reasoned that technology had probably moved on since I last considered one, and that it was worth £18 to find out how far it had progressed. It arrived pretty quickly, and I set it up in a couple of minutes, temporarily laying on the back of an armchair near a window. Nothing. 0 Channels detected. Clearly this was headed for the bin.I propped it up in the window, and rescanned. Hello! 93 Channels detected! Result! Unfortunately, the joy was short-lived – the channels were all entirely unwatchable. Garbled, mosaicked, rubbish. Oh, well.I attached the amplifier as the last throw of the dice, rescanned - and promptly brought in 147 channels of rock-solid, pin-sharp signal! I used the TVs Channel Manager to test every single one of the 147 channels – including the HD ones – and all were perfect. I couldn't be more delighted. One caveat for prospective purchasers is that I live in central London, and am surrounded by the Crystal Palace group of transmitters, which is why I didn't initially think that I would need the amplifier. But I did – and the results were just amazing.Of course, the above is just the experience of one user in a high signal-strength area – but the fact of the matter is that the device works, and I would recommend trying it wherever you live. If there is any signal at all in your area, I believe that this aerial stands a very good chance of pulling it in.

Disappointing Signal Reception: Limited Channel Availability
I recently purchased the TV Aerial 200+ Miles Freeview Aerial with Amplifier Signal Booster in hopes of enjoying a wide range of channels with excellent signal reception. However, I must express my disappointment with the product as it failed to deliver on its promise of providing access to all channels, leaving me with a limited selection and subpar signal quality.First and foremost, the signal reception of this aerial was far from satisfactory. Despite its claims of a 200+ mile range and an amplifier signal booster, the actual performance fell short of expectations. I struggled to pick up several channels, and the ones I did receive often suffered from pixelation, dropouts, and poor audio quality. This compromised viewing experience greatly detracted from the enjoyment of watching television.Furthermore, the limited channel availability was a major drawback. I expected the aerial to provide access to a wide range of Freeview channels, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Many channels were simply not detectable or had such weak signals that they were practically unwatchable. This severely limited my options for entertainment and left me frustrated and dissatisfied. In conclusion, the TV Aerial 200+ Miles Freeview Aerial with Amplifier Signal Booster fell short of providing the reliable signal reception and wide channel availability it promised. The subpar signal quality and limited channel selection made this product a disappointment. If you're looking for a reliable and high-performing aerial for optimal channel reception, I would recommend exploring alternative options that have a proven track record of delivering on their promises.
