Size:Medium | Color:Berry The ComfortFlex Limited Slip Collar is designed to keep your dogs both safe and comfortable on their walks. The lightly padded nylon collar goes on loose, easily slipping over the dogs head. If the dog pulls in any direction away from you, the collar then tightens down enough so that the dog cannot slip out of the collar, but not enough to choke the dog. The highly reflective, woven strapping make this collar very easy to see in low light situations.

Sturdy for my pit. Old one lasted 7 years.
Love. Bought the old one from the actual website years ago, when he was almost 2. Back for another here almost 7 years later. So that says a lot. It held up through pulls, tug of war, and washes. Not sure how the others teared. Held up to my 80 lb pit that chews everything. Hopefully the quality hasn’t declined because some of those pics of teared ones are scary. I’ll update as need be.

Incredible.
Update (10/10/13): I still have this thing and it's as solid and and stylish as the day I got it. It wears well, no threads popping or anything. Everything about it kicks serious tail.Thank you to the nice folks at PetPDC--your collar is legit.-----------------------------I have a Great Dane, and a particularly excitable one (he's still growing out of being a puppy). We tend to be perfectly good with walks, and he's very well behaved--but still, he tends to dart and pull when we're in relaxed and familiar places to either smell something or meet someone new. We've tried a few collars, and my concerns with them have always been four things:First, is it responsive for those times when it needs to be? Some of our collar experiments were not (I got a nice two-inch one that looked great, but it didn't really communicate to him when I wanted him to stop short or not pull). Second, is it safe? Many choke collars I vetoed because as big as he is, what I want is gentle pressure--not choking. Third, is it recognizable? He's black and huge, and it can be hard to see him at night, so I wanted something with a great contrast color and (hopefully) some reflector material. Fourth, of course, is it stylish and high-quality? Because I love my dog and I want him to look his best (and I want something robust). This collar is all of those things. First one I've bought that's that way.The yellow one looks fantastic on him, really stands out. The reflector stripes are easily seen at night. The padding makes it super comfortable for him and the slip on it is enough so when he's lounging around he isn't restricted but when we walk and he pulls, he feels that tension around his neck a bit. The materials seem to be great quality, too. I'll update in some months to see how it wears, but nothing about it's construction seems cheap. Good stitching, very solid ring.I /absolutely/ recommend this. We got the Large size (Danes are huge, but I imagine the XL is for bigger-necked Mastiffs or whatnot)... it's perfect. When we go for walks, now, he absolutely "gets it".Buy this. You won't be disappointed.

Great Every Day Collar
I love this collar and my dog seems very comfortable in it. Hardware is heavy duty. I especially like the BIG round ring - makes it very easy to snap the leash on. Seems to be high quality material and construction and have had several comments from people when we are out walking about what a nice collar it is. The slip action prevents your dog from backing out of the collar but does not choke the dog. It is a limited slip collar. It can only tighten up by about an inch or two - enough to be snug, but not strangling, and it's so heavily padded that it can't cut into or hurt the dog's neck. Love the bright colors, too - especially for walking in the woods. Slips on and off over the dog's head - there is no buckle or snap. It's so easy to put on - not quite as easy to get off, especially since I have a pit bull with a WIDE head, but not too difficult. Again, it's so soft, that even if you have to tug it over your dog's head a little to get it off, your dog probably won't mind. There's really no need to take it off, either, although you would not want to leave a dog alone in a house or crate, or even a back yard, with it on, since the ring COULD get caught in something. It still wouldn't strangle your dog, but your dog might panic and hurt himself if the ring were to get caught on something and you weren't around to get him loose.

Awesome!!!
Our escape artist got out of other collars and harnesses, but not this one! I was worried about it getting snug enough with having to adjust it while he is wearing it but it wasn’t too bad, super important that it fits correctly if you have an escape artist so I adjusted a little at a time. He used to pull and dig and was not so enjoyable to walk but after just two/three times with this collar he is wonderful! He doesn’t scratch at it and I haven’t noticed any rashes (he has sensitive skin) or rubbing. Hardware seems to be good quality but will update if he breaks it, our 80lb pittie loves to pull and can break plastic clips and weak D rings.Would 100% recommend to owners of strong pullers or escape artists

Seems to work pretty well
Purchased this collar for our male Boxer who's always been plagued by with allergies around his neck. Just about every other collar we've tried has caused redness and sometimes bleeding. This collar seems to work great, and we've yet to have any real problems with it.As with any other collar, it does require a few minutes to get it sized right. The tightening action of the collar allows it to work very similar to a choker chain, but with a little bit of padding around the neck. My one caution would be to assure that you have it sized tight enough, as leaving it too loose means that the choker function will run out of take-up, and will leave the collar loose around the dog's neck when applying force. If that happens, it is very possible for the dog to slip out of the collar if it's flopping around like a fish...something all too common when dogs usually see another dog.All in all, a great collar for the price paid.

Very Dangerous Piece Of Equipment!!!
It was great…until it wasn’t. Lasted one year before the nylon stitching unraveled and the strap ripped while walking my 35lb Staffy in traffic. It is probably great for small dogs under 15lb, but it’s too flimsy for strong dogs. This is a very dangerous piece of equipment!!! Luckily my dog is trained to come, otherwise he would be dead.

Color bleeds and stained my dogs' fur
My dogs are still pulling with this and the color bled onto my dogs' white fur and now they have colored rings around their neck. I bought neon pink and it absolutely stained my dogs' fur on one rainy day.
