I have other hats, but I wanted one that was a good standout bright color. I live in a retirement community. It is a common complaint of many of us here that the drivers don't see or don't care about any kind of foot traffic. I have an orange hat, but it has almost no ventilation and gets soaked in sweat immediately. This Headsweats cap is a very, very bright yellow with a hint of green. Perfect. Plus it is made of COOLMAX fabric including the terry headband. The rest of this is true but not required reading.Finally, I have a sort of strange head shape. It is both narrow, from side to side, and long from front to back. This hat is made so that it fits even my goofy head. I can pull it way down to shade my eyes and not get a headache from it being too tight. I would go out and try it in today's rain which would not bother it, but I will wait. Even those drivers who do seem to see me running, are distracted already by the rain. Those who are not distracted already, forget they are driving and will stare right at me like I am some kind of old fool. OK, I am, but I'll stay in today. Running in the rain would just confirm their suspicion.

This is my second Headsweats hat purchase. The first was a plain style, with no reflective material. I have a small head, and this adjusts down to fit me nicely, without looking puffy or oversized. The adjustor tab at the back is easy to adjust, but keeps its place once adjusted. I tighten it for wind as necessary. I love the bright color...great for daytime visibility in the woods or in traffic. And the reflective trim is very effective when walking at night. I got flagged down by a fellow pedestrian who wanted to know where I got my great hat, after he saw the reflective trim in action. Moisture wicking & heat release performance is actually my primary goal with head gear, and that's the main reason I came back for another Headsweats hat. It does a great job in the southern heat. And finally, I also use trucker hats to shield my eyes from bright sunlight, and this does a great job. The black lining under the bill keeps light from bouncing off lower surfaces into your eyes.

This is a lovely very lightweight hat, the cap portion is thin and stretchy and the brim is stiff, a bit heavy compared to the rest of the hat but feels comfortable. Less like a traditional baseball hat, more like a brim with a stretchy fabric that goes around your head. Good design.I got the slightly obnoxious high viz yellow to wear while road running and would consider getting another in a more attractive color for wearing all the time! It is definately visible though!

I moved to the country and my girlfriend was worried about me running on our country roads (55 mph, lots of turns and hills, no sidewalks, etc). The idea of a bright safety vest did not sound fun, or comfortable. This hat is nice and bright, fits well, comfortable, and doesn't feel weird to sweat a lot in (central NC heat/humidity). It's easy to wash/clean, I just wash it in the sink with soap and water and it keeps shape and is quick to dry. I plan to purchase this in a darker solid color for my normal trail runs. Would purchase again and recommend to friends.

This is a great hat. I love the bright color, the easily adjustable size, the reflective piping, the breathable material, and the comfort in general. I sweat more than anybody I know. I have to wear sweat bands just to do chores. With that much sweat, I need a hat that can absorb it from my head but then move it away and allow it to evaporate. This hat does exactly that. I love to take it when I go running. The hi-viz yellow makes it easier for cars to see me and the material does a good job keeping the sweat and sun out of my eyes.

Bright! I got this for my runs to add to my visibility. I have a small head so it comes down too far even with adjustment, for my five star rating. It seems to be good with keeping my head cool- I wish it had a sweatband liner. I'm not sure if the black under the bill makes a huge difference over my other running hats with white. But I bought it for visibility, and it provides that to a T.

As expected with a one-size-fits-all hat, the fit was a bit odd. Had some gapping on each side. Not a deal-breaker. Hoping it will just conform to my head over repeated uses and washing. I mainly purchased this for it's high visibility to use during night running. I had previously purchased the Headsweats Elite Icefil http://amzn.com/B00W7ML97W directly from Headsweats. The Performance hat seams to be a bit more durable as the Icefil has already gotten a few snags in it.

This is a bright moisture wicking hat I purchased for kayaking. It feels great and looks good. One caution is that is runs a little small. Most adjustable hats require me to tighten the rear strap. This hat fits just fine fully extended. This light, airy hat was a good buy. It is very visible with reflective trim.

Hace tiempo compré una gorra blanca de la misma marca y aunque son casi idénticas, a excepción del color, la primera me gustó más porque en la parte de adelante por dentro tiene una textura como de toalla muy fina que absorbe súper bien el sudor. Esta no lo tiene. No la he usado, así que no sé si funciona igual, pero me llamó la atención esa pequeña diferencia. Esta gorra es también un poco más grande que la otra. Es ajustable y en la configuración más ajustada apenas me queda. A mi esposa le queda un poco grande, mientras que la otra le quedaba bien.En general me parece que las gorras para correr son feas, porque no tienen mucha forma y son muy “chaparras”, pero estas son super ligeras, protegen bien del sol y evitan que el sudor escurra hacia los ojos. El filo reflejante está muy bien. Así que la recomiendo.

From this product, I wanted to keep the sun out of my eyes, aeration to keep me cool, a good looking product and high vis so I dont get run over by a passing vehicle when Im jogging.I got it all.It has a slide strap on the back to adjust the fit.Added bonus, I stick it in the washing machine (40 degrees Celsius) to clean it. Its gone 10 washes without a single stitch out of place.I recommend this product! 5 stars!

Gekauft für's Laufen mit dem Hund im Winter. Um auch von der Kappe her im Finsteren auch von diesem Gesichtspunkt einigermaßen sichtbar zu bleiben. Qualität und Passform sind wie erwartet gut. Keine Designer-Produkt, aber ein gutes "Werkzeug".
