I bought these to use as produce bags when I shop at the grocery store. I wanted reusable bags that I could also use to store produce at home. These work well for that purpose. Pros: well made, good assortment of sizes (the big ones are great for chard and celery, the small ones, perfect for shallots and garlic), color coded band makes it easy to grab the size you want, drawstring closure is strong and well made. For the price they are excellent value. Cons: the mesh is transluscent, but not transparent enough to read SKU numbers or bar codes through it, so the cashier has to open the bag to find the information, which slows things down if you have a lot of bags to go through. if the mesh could be made more transparent, they would be perfect!

I've used these several times now, and I love them. I love that there are three sized and that they are labeled for their max-carry capacity. The people at check out have commented that they are cool and easy to see the labels through.The only thing I did not like is that they came wrapped in a non-recyclable plastic bag. It's great that these are available for such a great price. But, the manufacturer should think about a more environmentally-kind packaging.

Just got these. Haven’t used them. When I opened the box and saw the huge MADE IN CHINA on the bag. Instant turn off. Prove to me there are no toxins in these bags. Want to be informed when something is made in China. Do not buy without proof

My biggest frustration with these bags has been the fact they have been in my wish list for so long before I finally hit that day where I was done with plastic bags and finally ordered them.I've had this set for about two months now and have been very impressed. The variety of the sizes in this set has been more than enough when shopping for produce for one person- I would feel confident shopping for a family as well. I've even found a game changing alternate use for packing when traveling (the large bags were perfect for socks / underwear / bras / tank tops, the medium bags took care of my typically chaotic electronics quite nicely).Durability-wise I have washed the bags multiple times and have not experienced snagging or wear-and-tear yet. That being said I would advise treating the bags with care- air dry after washing, store in their bag as opposed to a drawer that could snag.One of the unexpected bonuses of this purchase was the storage bag that these bags were delivered in. The pouch zips closed and also fits my larger grocery bags, my 16oz travel mug, and a notebook. It is perfect for keeping all of my shopping supplies together which has made it almost impossible to forget my bags when going out.If I had one criticism it would be that the material is tough to stick a produce sticker on if you shop somewhere that the customer typically weighs the product. Depending on where you shop this may not be a problem if the customer is not expected to weigh their produce but for me an easy solution was to use pages from my notebook that I stick the stickers on all together so the cashier just has to scan each of those. As for the criticism that the bags add weight to your product when you weigh it- I would assess that the difference is negligible unless you are buying extreme amounts / varieties of produce. If this is an issue for you then you may just have to weigh your produce before placing it in the bag when possible.

There is no tare weight tag on any of the bags like it is described in the listing. You won't be able to use the in grocery stores without paying extra for all your produce.
