I don't have a high expectation as this printer is for my children's homework, but was pleasantly surprised that the printer out was crisp and black, as if it is a genuine replacement toner. Printer setting shows a 100% parts life for the toner, and the test page show is excellent, with various correct grey tones and crisp think lines patterns. Can't be more happy for the price.Installation isn't that easy, due to this is a hack to the original equipment, not the fault of the seller. Replace the toner plug is particular difficult due to oversized plug for a tight fit, and I afraid that I will break the new plug. Used a larger flat head screw driver to slowly push it in and did the job. Otherwise it would be a 4 or 5 star.

Works good and was easy to install with no mess or leaks. The print quality looks good the only reason i gave 4 stars is because there wasn't a lot of powder so I doubt the 2600 pages claim. I will update the review if it does at least 2000 pages.

Does the job, but it would be helpful to include some how-to instructions. I figured it out eventually, but it would save a lot of mess and time if I knew beforehand about the plastic thingamajob that you have to position correctly to get the printer not to give a 'toner' error message.

The toner prints decent quality and the replacement parts fit correctly. This does not come with any sort of guide or instruction, so YouTube videos will be your friend. This product was my second attempt. Let me recommend from the first failed attempt, empty the remaining old toner from the cartridge and spray it out with compressed air. If not, you will end up with black all over the pages and you will have wasted your time and money.

The item itself is fine but the it did not include instructions. Instead there was a piece of paper with a link to a YouTube video. The link did not work. Upon searching I found the company's video instructions but it did not include information on how the center gear is to be reinstalled. This missing information is why I am leaving a 3 star review. It would have taken 5 minutes to do the job if they would have provided complete instructions. Other than that, I am very happy with the quality of the product.

Quality wise, I can not tell the difference between this and my original toner cartridge. This was my first toner refill. You have to clean out old toner and ensure everything is clean (blowing air on parts, vacuuming and wiping parts with alcohol). Results will vary based on your instruction. Some videos are oversimplified. It was not just a matter of pulling a plug. I had to remove, clean and reassemble multiple parts.

Refilled my original starter cartridge and installed the reset gear. Replaced cartridge in my Brother DCP-L2540DW printer. Printed a test page, same quality print as original.Be sure to watch the video the first time you refill. It's actually quite simple. Fill plug is a bit difficult to remove and install. I broke the plug when removing, glad I had a kit that included the refill plug. Be sure you have a spare refill plug before attempting a refill. This kit includes a refill plug and is actually cheaper than buying the plug separately. I just ordered another kit.

Very good to refill the cartridge. Only issue is the cost. It is about the same price as the cheaper cartridges out there.. without the work.
