The DM100 meter invert backlight display,flashlight brightness/beam,test port sockets rigidness,protective cover&backstand are 5*!.Accuracy 4*(digital/graph values balance& match,volts/ohms, 3.5*(emf/ncv oversensitive to background interference)flashlight time out (about 30sec)2*Visibility of the range symbols(the same value of CONTRAST was not adhered as in the display)the blue color on the A/C volts&others appears as green or barely legible at all in low light.The range selector knob is too hard to grip for large fingers or wearing gloves( due to the small diameter&low profile/height,close range detent spacing(to achieve a narrow/low profile tool).The index pointer end needs color to be visible in all selector positions.1.5*Needs a clear explanation of (speaker?)function.Last, a possible design/or defective meter(In the 1.5v&9.0v battery load test there is no wrong LEAD prompt/warning "waiting for Mestek feedback on this".Ps:Tip,an improperly seated or mismatched test lead can display as "FUSE" on the display.Update, blew a fuse in the meter.Both of them are fast blow,ceramic(Important,manual shows 2 different ma values 600ma&630ma for the low range fuse(See the photo)One each 10amp/250volt & 600ma/250volt x30mm/1 1/4"length.The 600ma replacement seems to be unavailable,purchased the Littelfuse brand(on Amazon) 600ma glass alternative for now. 2/2022 New fuse in,meter working.Conclusion: Meter was shipped w/ 600ma fuse but it appears 630ma is also acceptable.630ma stamped on back of meter ,however not really clear in manual.

This is an excellent DMM; accurate fast readings. 9,999 counts is generally only found in higher price devices. The device is sturdy and reliable. It is slightly larger than many other DMMs, but not so large to be a problem. Overall this is an excellent product.BE AWARE: As with many Chinese products, the sales page here has numerous errors. Under "Technical Details" it shows "2 AAA batteries required", but the actual battery size is AA.Batteries are included, but you will need a small phillips head screwdriver to install them.In some places on the page, it shows "Tuer" where it [obviously] means "True".In one place, it shows "RESULY" where it means "RESULT".Maybe I'm being too picky, but in my opinion they should proofread their sales page.Regardless of that, I give this product 5 stars because it is easy to use, provides fast accurate measurements, and has the features I expect in a DMM.

The DVM has a good clean appearance and is self-instructive to the new user. I especially like the 4-digit accuracy at 9999 count resolution. The instruction manual is thorough regarding operation and safety. I expect this meter will give me years of trouble-free service. 11-26-2021. Jerry E. Bayles

We bought one, and followed up by buying a second for a another team member. I prefer this meter with manually set scales over the auto-ranging meters, since for some voltages and currents, auto-ranging simply keeps switching scales with a unusable display.

I bought 3 different multimeters that could measure down to 10nA. I'm very impressed with all 3 of them, although this one was the one that was most off from the other ones. I don't have one of those $2,000 meters that I could compare with so take this review with a grain of salt. My impression was that this one was the least accurate but still an impressive meter.EDIT: I updated to 5 stars because this multimeter could measure a large resistance (up to 100M) that the other 2 multimeters could not keep up with, each maxing out at 20M and 60M.

This meter is extremely easy to read, I bought it because I am visually impaired and it is excellent. As for the unit itself... It has a Swiss army knife of useful features and should cost a lot more than 25 bucks. The instructions are clear with the exception of changing the meter from C to F for temp reading(turn on meter while pressing the flashlight button). The ac voltage presence sensor is very sensitive, my walls are eight inches thick and it detected live wires within them. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and as a retired electrician, I highly recommend it.The leads on my my unit were a little lose so I carefully spread the male lead terminals.

Es un buen aliado para el trabajo, aunque falta un buen y preciso instructivo en ESPAÑOL o un enlace con el instructivo en digital para traducirlo, hay algunas funciones que realizo por intuición y experiencia y no debiera ser así.

This multimeter is great for DIY. All the built in features such as the live wire, NCV test and high vis screen replaced multiple tools where I only have to grab this. Its heavy duty and you won't be disappointed getting this.

Considerando su precio, es muy bueno. Quizás le ponga un susto a otros de marca establecida costando mucho más. Se me hizo muy inteligente su diseño, práctico, como la función de buscar líneas vivas sin conectar las probetas. Medición de capacitancia, cosa que no se encuentra en equipos de este costo.No tengo manera de comprobar su precisión, pero para uso semi profesional no dudo que esté en rango.
