Very sturdy, well made, easy to modify.
I couldn't find anything else for my situation. I used it to keep two swinging gates flush together. I put this on top with some modifications(see pictures). Also used 1/4 inch bolts with locking nuts. My gates are now flush. Very happy.

Seems to work well
Bought two for an aluminum double driveway gate. I trimmed part of the side leg off to have only one hole (instead of the two) because it extended beyond my gate frame. That said, it is evenly centered when compared to the metal only gate stop. I have a 1” gape between the double gates. The gate self closes well at a reasonable opened distance (about 1/4 to 1/3 open). Beyond that, I get a bounce and no latch. My impression is that they work relatively well. I am using the LokkLatch Magnetic latch.

Looks good, works well. should last long
This gate stop attaches pretty easily, is pretty sturdy (not sure how it will take a really strong smash, but normal gate closing works great). This item will keep your gate from closing past the latch. This should help both the hinges and the latch as neither will be stressed past designed operational limits. The unit is made of some sort of ABS plastic and seems quite rugged. It is designed to attach both to the face and the edge of the leading edge of the gate and strikes the post when the gate is closed. The attachment is several screws (included) and should work fine. We will see how well they last in redwood fencing. The plate that strikes the fence post has three rubber-like pads that provide a cushion between the plate and the post when the gate is closed. I've used this on two different gates and they seem to work fine (first gate - several months; second gate - two weeks). Note I have only used this item on single gate closures. I have no idea if it would work for a two gate closure.

Well made
Heavy duty plastic won't bend or rust, perfect for outdoor gate exposure. Easy to install and relieves stress on vinyl gate during closure. Very happy with purchase.

Great concept and solidly made. Works great on my yard gate.
The media could not be loaded. Great concept and well made. I had to do a little shaving of the plastic and add a piece of wood where the stopper met the door due to how my gate was set up, but that was expected and the install was straight forward. Now no more uncontrolled slamming of the gait and bending the latch mechanism. The latch closure works perfectly now. Been having to adjust or replace this dang gate latch every so often for 20 yrs...not anymore. YEEHAW!

Exactly what I needed. heavy gate closes solidly.
The media could not be loaded. I am "over-engineering" a 7' wide by 6' tall 200-pound metal-framed gate, and these bumpers were the last piece of the puzzle to keep it from wiggling or rattling while latched or locked. I used two due to the size, and needed to add some wood as a spacer so the bottom bumper would snug up to the post. In my video, there is a 3/4" gap between the gate frame and latching post to accommodate the latch. As long as your latching post is at most 2" away from your gate frame, these bumpers should work fine.Time will tell if these hold up. I am more concerned about the screws loosening in the steel frame than UV destroying the plastic. They certainly look good, feel good, and add a quality finishing touch to my gate.
