Exactly what I was looking for... music controls!
I wanted a Bluetooth remote to control the music on my phone while driving. My car does not have device hookups so I have to control my music manually. For some reason this is one of the few products that has buttons for playback and not just camera... This little remote is exactly what I wanted. It controls the iPhone music app as well as Pandora and Spotify so I assume most streaming apps will be fine. The only quirk is that sometimes I need to press a button twice, as if the remote has gone to sleep. No big deal. It works!

I bought this for my wife and I. I ...
I bought this for my wife and I. I have the Samsung Note 4 and she has the iPhone 6s. One of the main reasons for my purchase was to be able to wirelessly operate the video section of my Note 4. I wanted to use it for spur of the moment self-promotional business video recording and had been looking for a wireless remote to aid me in those efforts. Unfortunately, I can only to operate the Note 4 in still shot mode while using the default camera control App. I searched for and finally found a third party App in the Android "Playstore" meant for video editing called "Power Director" that works with this remote in video mode without issue. It starts and stops and that is all I needed it to do. On the other hand, my wife's iPhone paired and worked in both still shot and video modes straight out of the box. Come on Samsung!!!

Great for remotely controlling a music player.
I got this to control the music player on my phone in the car... mostly to skip or pause the music. The shutter button works great, you just have to watch out for range... there isn't anything on the remote that lets you know whether you're still connected. Play opens the last app you were using (I use different apps for music and podcasts). The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buttons are difficult to feel without looking... there are no tactile markings on them at all. I used a little UV epoxy to make a dot on the skip ahead button, two dots on the play and a small line on the center of the volume button. I can't say how long a charge lasts.. I haven't had to charge it since it's initial charge!

Best Bluetooth 3.0 Class 2 in pocket Media Player/Shutter controller
I was looking for a tiny bluetooth media controller because I don't like pressing the button on the bluebird X's or bursting an eardrum on the SoundPeats. This is the size of a thin key fob, it's extremely tiny. All of the buttons give a great solid click and the battery is rechargeable. The instructions are in broken english, but it's a simple device. Like any bluetooth device, you pair it and turn it on and off. On android 5.1 it controls the camera shutter, track fwd, track back, volume up and down and play/pause. Exactly what I wanted and not 30 bucks like the Satechi button. Which I hear there is no tactile feedback on the buttons. If you think the satechi button is classy because of the aluminum, look at the pic again, it's not brushed aluminum. I was also thinking of purchasing the Isimple media controller but reviews also said that had no tactile feedback. The only reason I would buy those over this would be to connect it to a handlebar, but this is great for the pocket and less than half the price. Knocking off a star because I would like cardinal direction media controls but at least I know I pressed a button. No issues using this device and immediately texting with swiftkey like what I've heard about other media controllers.

Jus what I needed to control music without looking.
I use headphones when getting dental work done. It help drown out the drill noise. I used to use a set of corded headphones along with an old clickweel iPod. I used this so I could turn down or pause the music with out looking at it.My old iPod died. So I was going to replace it, but it seems like a huge waste to pay for one of those old devices when I only use it once or twice a year.Well with my impending filling appointment and my already present anxiety about going to the dentist I had to find a solution quickly.I already own a set of Bluetooth headphones for my iPhone 7 that have music controls on them, but I can’t be Using those while getting a filling. That’s when I came across this Bluetooth remote. It worked beautifully. Had no trouble paring with my iPhone, and was able to be connected and used while my headphones were also connected. The buttons were distinct enough to tell what was what in my hand and control the music how I wanted.Totally worth the purchase price and a rechargeable battery as well? Love it.

Great for price
So far so good. I use this for my car because I have my phone mounted high on my dashboard. I tried changing the songs for my music manually, but I felt it was very unsafe. I got this and it works great. I turn it off every time I am not using it and so far I have only had to charge it once. Been using it for about two weeks now. My one complaint is that the buttons are not very distinguishable from one another, so if you are wearing gloves because it is cold or something, this can make it hard to use. I ended up glueing a little jewel to the skip song button so I don't need to look at it, I can just feel for it and know where to press.

but might be annoying for some
PROS:Does just what it says it does.Connects automatically after pairing for the first time with no trouble.Very small and convenient.Very long battery life, can go a week or so at a time without charging if use is light.CONS:Shutter button takes two pics on my phone, Oneplus 5. Not sure if this is the same for every phone, and I never use that button anyway, but might be annoying for some.Would be better if it included a wrist strap and micro-USB dust cover.Tiny delay in setting volume, but that's probably due to Android Nougat rather than the device.
