Easy to fit, packs up nice and small. Dries fast. I would use this even if I wasn't expecting rain just for the additional warmth on colder rides.

To give you some idea about the size, it is 18"X16", I have Giro helmet with visor which measures 17.5" top surface with visor and 16" highest point on the side. It covers almost entire helmet. It is water proof, As you can see in the picture, I have poured water inside of the cover (inside out) and did not see any water leak.

I got the red helmet cover because I love to ride local trails during hunting season. It gives me a little better feeling especially when I don't actually know when hunting season is. It fit my helmet perfectly and I think it will last for years.

I ordered the yellow and orange helmet covers. Chief purpose of my purchased was for VISIBILITY. Auto drivers do not always look out for bicycle riders. Fits well on helmet and highly visible with reflective segments in material. Blocks wind that could pass through and make top of head cold in winter time. Also repels rain from entering helmet. My plan is to use it year round.

I am a year round bike commuter with a big head and didn't even realize that something like this would be available to keep my head dry.It fits my big helmet snugly and i really like the reflective patches for extra added visibility at night. I noticed cars were giving me a little more attention when turning or going by. It definitely helps to be seen when you ride.

I purchased this helmet cover in yellow for my husband who bikes to work every day in rainy Portland, Oregon. He says it fits his helmet well, and when riding, he doesn't even notice it's on. But it helps keep the drizzle at bay and increases his visibility. Just what he was looking for.

I commute about 25 minutes to work (each way) and wanted a way to keep my head fairly dry.This helmet cover does not work for me.I saw other reviews and was hopeful, but even a light right for 25 minutes causes my helmet and head to be wet. This cover is better than nothing, but the underside will leak through fairly quickly (<15 min), even in a light, but steady, rain.This moisture under the helmet cover is not condensing sweat, as I have also tested this cover during dry conditions a few times with temperatures similar to the rainy days, and the underside of the cover is dry.Under heavy rain conditions, the rain actually collects on the bunched up underside edges of the cover, resulting in 1-2 ounces of captured water (that is, don't remove your helmet indoors over carpet).Good* Good fit (Mens Giro Revel), even in windy conditions (30 mph gusts)* Highly visibleCon* Doesn't actually block rain (not waterproof)

I couldn't figure out why people would spend over 30 bucks on a glorified shower cap, and was pleased to find the BTR helmet covers. It took me a few seconds to figure it out, but this cover fit snugly over my regular-sized helmet (size XL). The product was shipped very soon after I ordered, and arrived quickly. My only regret is that I didn't notice the "two-fer" deal until I'd clicked "Buy"...I'd like to have gotten the orange helmet cover as well! I definitely recommend this product, which does what it should for an appropriate price.
