A Game changer
Have been considering a cup for a while due to buying several boxes of tampons and pads a month and also being aware of the environmental impact.Just completed my first period exclusively using this and couldn't be happier. There are so many benefits:- It's so comfortable you'll forget you're on! Seriously you don't even feel its in there- You don't need to change it as much as traditional products, even as a heavy bleeder! This is amazing for being out and about and busy- No leaks and no need to wear a towel alongside- I had a shorter period! There is an initial learning curve when it comes to inserting and removing but once you have that down, you're golden. I won't be going back to tampons or towels now unless I'm in a pinch or it's an emergency. As someone that's suffered with heavy periods, I honestly never thought I'd have a good monthly experience but I have now and couldn't be happier. It comes with a very detailed leaflet and a cotton pouch to store it in and can last up to 10 years - saving you money and contributing to as much landfill. A win win!

Great for beginners
I thought about trying menstrual cup for a long time - for economic and ecologic reasons, but was afraid too, because I really don't like to put anything "in there" (yes, yes, I know, pennises and babies fit in there fine. Or not fine, whatever). So, for a first try I was looking for economic menstrual cup, just to see if I will be able to use at all. That's how I got BeYou cup.I was surprised how easily I managed to put it in. The "punchdown" method was really easy. To put it out also was fine. The leaflet that came along with this cup was really helpful.Overall, the feeling with this cup is quite similar as with tampon. And this is a downside - either of these products I can't use for a longer periods of time, because I get cramps and unpleasure feeling down there. So, in the long run, I don't know if I'll be able to replace pads with menstrual cup for good.To conclude, I'm happy for choosing this cup as a start and I hope that with practice it will become a good alternative for tampons and maybe even for pads.

Fabulous
As a first time menstrual cup user, I found this was quite nice for a beginner like me. At first it was a bit uncomfortable and a bit leaky, but I put that down to my poor insertion technique. After a few cycles I learnt the best way for me to use it. Now, I don’t even feel it. What I will say is my flow is quite heavy, so I do have to empty it quite often. Perhaps a slightly bigger one would have been better. Nonetheless, it does what it needs to do very well.It also comes with a little poster which includes information about different ways to insert it, clean it, and store it which I found very helpful.Edit: I’ve now been using it for over a year. Still feel the same as I did when I first bought it, but it’s a bit of a hassle changing it in public bathrooms where the sink is so far away from the toilet

PLEASE READ V.I.P.!!!! Trip to A&E
Product itself is very good, it is super comfortable, quite easy to insert HOWEVER is VERY difficult to remove (even with instruction booklet.I ended up having a trip to A&E (and didn’t get removed till after 9.30pm) as cup had rotated inside me meaning it had to be removed by a doctor. It was stuck for 28hrs and because of this I had to have emergency removal. No matter how many YouTube videos/articles I read I couldn’t remove it for the life of me.It was very UNCOMFORTABLE and at times PAINFUL trying to get removed as it had dislodged right to the top of my cervix. Gynaecologist had to use forceps and many sachets of gel. Afterwards I was told by gyno to never use again as it could’ve caused a serious chronic infection which could’ve spread to my pelvis and made future pregnancies etc difficult maybe resulting in miscarriages.SO PLEASE beware that the actual product and concept is amazing! But there is a high chance it could get dislodged like what happened to me and I NEVER EVER want to go through that again. Was in fact quite traumatic. If you know your body/anatomy inside out and are willing to take a risk maybe try but be cautious. If you don’t know your anatomy well or have never used a menstrual cup before. I really don’t recommend unless you are very confident and again willing to risk a potential trip to emergency room. Altogether 4/10 as removal is super complicated.

Great product, misleading description
Can't fault the product at all, it's great and easy to use. Only issue is the description says pack of 2 but there is only one in the box! Very misleading.

Great Product!
I am very new when it came to using the menstrual cup as I have been a pad lover since the day I start my period. Haven’t been able to use other products like tampons as I have a retroverted uterus , so I was worried about inserting a cup and it not staying in it’s position. I was so surprised by hoe comfortable it was and not painful at all. With its silicone material, it made it more easier to use and was not irritating to the skin at all. So grateful for having such detailed instructions with images to show different way of how to use the cup. I still used a organic pantyliner but I didn’t have a problem with leaks. As I have heavier periods I felt like I was emptying it more often but despite this I love the product and the cute packaging it came in. and love how sustainable it is for the environment!

Love it!!
Honestly can't believe I haven't used one of these sooner. It was incredibly comfy and easy to use, both inserting and taking it back out again. As a first time user I was a bit unsure but will definitely being using this everytime now! Very easy to clean with the cleansing foam too. I've also got a sterilising pot to put it in the microwave which I'll be trying out shortly too...For anyone that isn't completely sold on the idea, I would say just go for it and try it out. I'm 27, no kids, and went for the small version and that worked for me. Good for your bank balance, good for you and for the environment - what more could you want?
