Sizzix, Mint, Standard Cutting Pads 660522, 2 Pack, 8 3/4" x 6 1/8" x 1/8"

These colored cutting pads are the same as the clear, but just colored. Perfect for knowing which one is your cutting plate and which one is your non-cutting plate. Use one colored and one clear cutting pad when die cutting. It's best to designate a separate cutting plate because then only one gets all marked/cut up and the other one stays nice. I haven't been able to find the colored cutting pads in the stores and was happy to find them here. They come in a few different colors but I chose the Mint because it was the least expensive at $8.97 Prime price. These cutting pads are for the Big Shot/Big Kick Machine. Please let me know this was a helpful review.

Purchased the mint cutting pads for a Sizzix Big Shot, stored away for a couple of months. Just started using the pads and already have an issue, bowing occurred very quickly and a 1-inch crack happened today. The pads have been in use for less than 1-month. I'm an occasional crafter, not a heavy user. The other pairs of "clear" cutting pads never developed cracks.

These are handy because they are easy to spot on my desk. My complaint to Sizzix is the newer plates (I am on my 3rd set) do not seem as heavy duty and don't last as long as the originals that I started with.

The color is nice - I like to use a colored cutting pad and a clear one for my sandwiches. It makes it easy for me to remember without looking more closely which one goes on top and which one on the bottom. I have made the mistake of using the pad that all the dies have been cut into on the top of the sandwich before - all the little cut lines transferred to my die cut - sucked. So I use one color for the top and a clear or different color for the bottom. When the bottom wears out I just move the old top to the bottom - that way I keep rotating the pads out oldest to newest.

Nice enhancement to the cutting pads. By offering new bright colors, it makes it easy to keep this pad on the bottom and you can use an older pad on the top to saves the life of blue the pad that way and give a nice even cut and keeps the cuts and fine details looking crisp.

Great product...love all the colors...like to have extras on hand just in case...never know...but I love all the colors and that is what makes me purchase these...the colors are all so pretty just gotta have em all...but they are very good quality and would recommend to any one needing replacement pads for whatever reason...these and the best and I love my Big Shot!! Sizzix makes great quality products!! Love these colorful cutting pads... of course.....5*s!!

Love these cutting plates. I needed a new pair, and was thrilled to find them in such a beautiful color. The color one is always my top plate, and a clear plate is the bottom cutting plate. The lovely color stands out on my craft table, so i dont "lose" it while im crafting. Thanks.

I purchased these so that when I have card classes the girls can easily distinguish which plate is the cutting plate for the Big Shot. I use the coloured plates on the bottom for cutting and clear ones for the top part of the "sandwich".

These are the same as the clear cutting pads which come with the Sizzix, except for the colour. There are other colours available eg pink but these turquoise blue ones will be an easy reminder as to which pad will be the "cutting" pad on top and which one (this lovely one) will remain "clean" and "uncut".

I know these need replacing often but these two went in a few uses - really warped and became unusable very quickly . Don't know if it's the colour that makes the acrylic weaker as these are the only ones Iv'e tried but my other clear ones have lasted much better!

These are just perfect - the colour makes it easy to keep track of and they work beautifully...

Great item. Useful being coloured as easy to find on desk and can sort top and bottom plate with a hope of less cutting marks.

Absolutely loves these, and a must for anyone who has the big shot. By keeping the coloured ones as the not cutting plate, you can see at a glance which ones to use. Very good quality too.
