Basis Hunter Unisex Integrated Electric Mountain Bike, 7.8Ah Battery - Black/Lime

Great little bike for the money i was impressed with the build quality due to car crash knees not up to much did 7 mile on it straight out of the box and be getting my little boy from school which is 6mile round trip i like it

Dont buy this bike as the battery was defective and does not last , then you are stuck with a useless bike as it is an intergrated battery so you need the same battery. Other bikes have batteries on the rack or outside which you can be replace easily . The Company would not help with sending a replacement battery as they required the whole bike to be sent so they can return it with battery in and this would cost more than the bike itself. The bike was just out of warranty , and was not used much due to Covid Lock down last year when we purchase it. I also contacted Amazon and they werent much help as they tried to issue a returns label, but the Company refused due to it being out of warranty. I suggest buying a bike locally or one that can be serviced or repaired by your local cycle shop. Check with your local cycle shops if they will help with parts etc as they will need a lot of maintaining. The battery also is not very powerful so i would go for a larger size battery or you will be charging constently or get caught short. I checked all my local cycle shops and not one would touch the bike, so no servicing , no parts or repairs or testing the battering and electics.

My journey to work is 3 miles, this e-bike makes that an easy and speedy journey. On hilly terrain I only get 12 miles out of the battery but that's enough to get from home to work and back again twice. On flat terrain I can double that to 24, however it enters "limp-home mode" for the last 3 miles.I originally bought this because it's one of the few e-bikes that looks like a regular bike at first glance but it has "electropower" stickered all over it, kind of defeating the point.Overall though, it's a good bike. Very quick to 15.5mph and easy to ride on long journeys.-edit- So the battery died after 6 months. Got in touch with the manufacturer and they replaced it with no fuss (from them at least, the courier was a waste of space). Battery and bike both work again now!

I have dithered over buying an e bike for ages, really glad I did.The Basis Hunter allows me to enjoy cycling again, it doesn't shout e bike due to the battery being set into the frame.Not overly heavy, haven't had to use motor while on the flat.On hills try and cycle unaided as far as possible and then move to 1st setting and so on, need to feel the effort with out killing myself.Haven't tested the range yet, trying to see how many trips I can make before recharging battery.Quality of finish very good for the price, had to buy mudguards and lights (extra £20.00 on Amazon)Would be happy to recommend to anyone wanting a smart and value for money e bike.

Really pleased with my electric bike from these guys, just 6 gears which suits me - keeping it simple it's all you need when you have the extra power. Only use the battery when going up steep hills, it doesn't need it when it's flat (or downhill). Also I had a problem with my battery (stopped accepting a charge) and they replaced it quickly under warranty, even during lockdown, excellent service.

Seems like a well built bike ...Brought for my wife so she could keep cycling close to me ...the power in the electric motor seems good ...So far seems okay

It just works - it's light enough to pedal without power, and out of the 3 power settings 1 is a little weak, 2 you can feel and 3 is just 'Wow!' - put's the joy back into cycling rain, wind or shine!
