Overall decent, but struggles with cutting errant hairs with a guide comb
I struggled with this one. So many good reviews, but this clipper just wasn't working for me at first. I keep my hair fairly short, a “military” cut. So I needed to use the shortest guide comb. I've used an old Wahl corded clipper for more than 40 years, which still cuts very well (just had to replace the guide combs). But when I run this unit over my scalp expecting it would trim a few errant hairs sticking up, it just wouldn't! What? I ran it every which way. Turned down the power, increased the power, adjusted the variable distance between the .8 - 2.0 mm range limits. Nearly gave up, expecting to return the unit. I took off the guide comb and found then it worked well to trim those errant hairs. So is it a guide comb problem?I decided to wait a few weeks for my hair to grow out to the point where it would take a trim of about 1/4" off. The unit seemed to cut better with more hairs. Still had to go over my scalp multiple times to get a smooth looking cut, and it didn't get close to the skin when trimming the sideburns, even when adjusted to the .8 mm. So I’m not overall impressed with the cutting ability for my application. Some pros on the unit: it looks well built, it’s light, its adjustable, it has a crazy long battery life (232 minutes at the lowest power setting), it has a digital read out of how many minutes of operational time remains.I'll keep the clipper for travels (we often go on 3-week trips, and I often bring my clippers with me, and this one is lighter), but I'll still probably use my old Wahl corded clippers at home to save time.

Hubs gives it more than 5 stars!!
I got this cordless trimmer for my husband and he loves it!! It comes packaged very nicely in a case that can be used to store it or for travel. It has a built in rechargeable battery that runs for up to 4 hours before needing recharged. The clippers are adjustable and can be used with the enclosed blade guards or alone. My husband said he loves the ultra quiet design and ergonomic feel when in use.

Hands down best clippers ever
I’m an semi-professional barber. I cut my own hair as well as about 10 of my family and friends. It’s hard to find a set of clippers that can stand up to continued use without spending hundreds of dollars. These clippers however are by far the best set I have had the pleasure of using in a long time. The quality of these things are amazing. They feel good in my hands and the adjustment is superb. I don’t think you can get a better quality product for your money and the quality of haircut I have been able to do is beyond amazing. Plus they come with a warranty so any malfunction and they will replace them. I absolutely love these clippers. The battery is amazing. The digital display shows battery life. How long you used it and so much more. You gotta try these clippers!!!!!!

Decent hair clipper/trimmer for pandemic times
This was my first time cutting my hair.I like it short. Guide comb #1 (3mm) on the back and side of the head and guide comb # 3 (9 mm) on top. It took me a little while to get the hang of it.Here are my pros and cons for the Plusdot hair clippers:Pros:- good for trimming with no guide combs and on 0.8 mm setting- easy to change blade length with dial (0.8 mm to 2.0 mm)- decent for hair clipping (although I've never used others so I can't compare it to any other clipper)- does not pull at hairs when cutting (cuts sharply but comfortably)- clipper is quiet- clipper is lightweight- blades do not heat up- blades do not irritate skin (even with no guide combs on it)- battery lasts long on one charge (240 minutes) and the display on the handle shows the minutes of power remainingCons:- It is VERY difficult to get the cutting head back on after it is detached, in part because I didn't know how to do it and the instructions are worthless. I almost threw the hair clippers out because I could not get the cutting head back on. After MANY unsuccessful attempts, I was finally able to get the cutting head back on. You don't have to take the cutting head off - you can just clean the blades with a brush and/or cleaner fluid. But it is nice to be able to remove and reattach the cutting head so that you can thoroughly clean hairs that build up periodically. I would recommend not removing the cutting head since it is so hard to get back on. The difficulty in getting the cutting head back on is my biggest complaint and why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4.- only 4 guide combs are provided (not a problem if you like a short haircut but it is a problem if you like your hair longer)- attaching the guide combs to the clipper is a little difficult cause you have to align the 2 notches on the guide comb with the grooves on the sides of the clipper. Not that hard but not as easy as jusy slipping them on- mine did not come with a case to pack it for travel (just a cardboard box with compartments for the clipper, guide combs, charger, etc.)Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase considering the circumstances (pandemic).

Lightweight, good battery, max "turbo" mode goes easily through thick hair
Pretty good, I've only used it for two male haircuts so far, but the design is very nice, and the power is good for a cordless clipper. It has 240 minutes of battery life, through I have not been able to test this, but it has more than enough battery in my opinion. It comes with 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm guards, which means that the 2mm adjustment + the 12mm guard maxes out at a number 4-5 (1/2 inch to 5/8 inch). This can be an issue when you are trying to blend a fade with the top. Though generally, I find scissors sufficient for lengths greater than half an inch anyways.
