What a practical product for runners/walkers. Wish I would have invented it myself.
I'm not big on writing reviews on products but I must say I was pleasantly suprised when the CEO Justin Lynch handwrote a little note thanking me for my purchase and asked for a review on Amazon. When's the last time a CEO did that when you bought his/her product? First, the product is genius. I don't want to wear a waist belt with water bottles or hold a water bottle in my hand nor do I want to wear a water backpack. So, 5 stars for the product itself. I will say that the 7.5 oz bladders will only hold 6 oz of water. Any more and it overflows out of the top. It would be nice to have that extra 1.5 oz on a long run. Put a few ice cubes in your water and it stays cold even on a 1 1/2 - 2 hour run.I must say I do not particulary like the ziploc closures as they are extremely difficult to unzip. Not sure if this will improve the longer they are used but for now it can be a real pain to get them to unzip at times. Overall, this a great concept and product, especially for a first-year design.A couple of my ideas for future versions include: more colors, different size bladders and maybe even a dual bladder with two separate drinking holes, a zipper pocket to hold items like keys, cash, ID, energy bars, etc. Again, this is what's great about America. Someone can come up with a great idea that is useful and practical all at the same time. Keep working on the product Justin and I look forward to future versions!Updated 6/3: Maybe now that the bladders have stretched some, they are now filling up with 7 to 7 1/2 ounces of water and the zipper open and closes much easier now. 5 stars!!!Updated 6/18/16: After using this for almost a year, I have to say it is not able to withstand a lot of use before breaking down. Just recently the zipper stopped zipping up both sides and left a gaping hole on both sides so the sleeve is no longer usable. Both bladders ripped on the corners as again the ziploc system on the bladders needs improvement. I had one bladder tear at where the drinking tube is attached so I had to throw that one away as it was useless now. I guess for the amount of money I paid I would have expected it to last longer. I think I will be looking elsewhere now as I can't justify spending this much money again on this product and getting about a year or so use out of it. Hopefully, this product will be improved as it was a first year design. I would love to test out a product redesign but as for another purchase, I'll have to say no at this point.Updated 6/23/16: Well Justin (founder of company) sent me a handwritten not thanking me for my review and he sent me a new Hydrosleeve even though I never asked for it! He said the zipper has been strengthened and the bladder ziploc system has been improved. I will definitely give this a test. I loved the concept but just wasn't thrilled with the durability. Hopefully, this will do the trick. I will give it 4 stars for now for the customer service and concept. It will return to 5 stars if this new design is durable or it will go back to 3 stars if the design still needs work. I will update this later in the year after I have used it for some time. Thanks again for the new Hydrosleeve Justin.

Tried to love
After trying very hard to love this - I have to give this a one star rating. I have to add, that the company tried .. but unfortunately, my experience is a longer term review. The concept was appealing for many reasons - but here's the problem. The valves leak. I've tried three -- and they leak or they pop off - which is not a fun situation. I brought this to the company attention and they kindly sent additional bladders and valves - so it's not that "one" leaked.. all leaked - some after one use; and some after no more than a few uses. There is a competitor that I've had no problems with. Like my headline says - I wanted to like this so much - but I cannot recommend it after using for several months.

Fit great - didn't slide
Wore this for a desert 10k, and it was nice to have a sip of water in the middle. Felt comfortable even for me - I tend to have nerve issues, but none with this. I've never brought water with me on a run, but this amount is just enough for a 6-10 mile run in the desert. 7.5 ounces is less than the volume in a normal can of coke. The zipper-end hangs down and chafes my inner elbow if I wear it on my right arm, but not on the left arm (since the zipper-end rests on top in that orientation). My arm girth at the widest is 10.5 inches, and I ordered the Medium. I had no problems getting it tight enough and actually had a little ways to go if I wanted to make it tighter. I wanted the option of making it bigger in case I gain muscle. I could fit a couple things in the sleeve even when the bladder was full - didn't try the phone, but I bet you could do it. Came with an extra bladder and valve, which is awesome! Will take out the bladder and use as a travel pouch when I travel, too - it can easily fit my wallet with the cell phone.

-The bladder holds a perfect amount of water for a 7 mile run
I received the Hydrosleeve as a birthday gift. I was needing something to stay hydrated during my run in the Arizona summer sun. Backpacks and waist packs are not an option (just a personal preference) so I began researching and happened upon hydrosleeve, I was ecstatic! Here's my take on it.PROS:-The bladder holds a perfect amount of water for a 7 mile run, if I just take sips.-The bite valve works perfectly and can be twisted for perfect placement.-There is very little sloshing-Others have complained about the bladder giving water a plastic taste, give it a good wash before hand in hot soapy water and the problem is solved.-The bladder seals well, no leaks-Easy to use-The pocket is big enough to hold the bladder, a couple packs of GU, and my ID.-The interior of the pocket is insulated keeping water cooler (by no means cold, but what stays cold when its 100 degrees outside?)-The fabric of the pocket and workmanship is top quality. I expect it to last a long time.CONS:The only reason I have for docking my rating one star is the arm band. Like some other reviewers have stated, the army band pinches and cuts into my arm. I have some dandy scratches and scabs to prove it. I did contact the company, and while this is meant to be a review of the product only, I must say, the Hydrosleeve company has top notch customer service. You can really feel they care about their customer, and take all suggestions and comments seriously. The solution I have come to, to prevent the chaffing and pinching, is to cut the cuff off a tube sock and run the armband through the cuff before I put it on my arm (hope that makes sense). All in all, a great product, great idea, and perfect for me. I'm convinced the company has addressed the issues with the armband. This is a great product that with time is only going to get better!
