Criss Angel Ultimate Magic Kit Black Medium

Criss has his name and logo all over this magic kit. I bought it because I recently saw his show in Vegas. This kit is perfect for getting to know the basics of creating an illusion; because without them, more difficult tricks might be hard to do. Even if you don't like Criss you might still want to get this kit because it really does have a lot packed into. The price is perfect too. I can see someone paying over twice the price of this kit if they were to buy each component seperately. Only two of the tricks in this kit are a little flimsy. Be careful with the Pen through Glass trick.The manual that that comes with the kit has tons of variations of different tricks. Its not that imformative or illustrative, but overall I think it's still easy to comprehend.The DVDs that come with the kit are pretty cool. One isn't taught by Criss at all, but does teach you how to use every aspect of this kit. It was extremely helpful. The other two DVDs has Criss show a trick to a small audience so that you can see how a proffesional makes it look, and then he teaches you how to do the trick. Criss and his famous magic assistant (I'll let you figure out who that is) are very good at giving tons of tips and ways to perform each trick.Overall, I think this kit is awesome. It will really get you going into the world of magic, and before you know it you'll be looking for more and more magic books and tricks. Remember to practice in front of a mirror!

I purchased the Mindfreak Ultimate Kit in preparation for a Halloween party for my children. I learned many of the basic mindfreaks in a very short time, and the children were amazed. They have asked for more parties in the future with my "magic".The product contains a number of simple illusions that befuddled my wife, my mother, other adults and the children in attendance as well. The kit includes 3 dvds that offer visual instruction to accompany the illustrated book. Many of the mindfreaks included can be altered to a more difficult illusion, offering many ways of presentation.I thought that this product was great for me... I'm almost 40, and I love to entertain. With no experience with "magic", this kit was a perfect starter that will last a long time. Care must be taken with it, as many of the pieces are of light construction. I have performed many times since purchasing it, and all of my equipment is still intact. I definately recommend this kit for beginning Mindfreaks or Magicians. It is fun, whether you are good at it or not!

Bought this for my 12 year old Nephew for Xmas this year (2014), he hasn't stopped playing with it! He loves it! He said " you know Aunty this kit has inspired me to create my own magic tricks and illusions." This makes me happy, anytime I can find fun and learning, other than video games, it's a win win! Some of the things aren't made super hefty, but it's not cheap crap either. So I'm happy.

This basic magic kit has been around forever. This kit contains some tricks that are not found in the kit just released by Penn and Teller. However, the kit's penetration glass is nowhere near as sturdily constructed as P&T's, and it does not include the clever Zig-Zag Card device. It does have the nifty Utility Device that P&Ts does not. My main caveat is that one should not be too excited by the promise that you will learn how to Levitate anytime, anywhere without the use of props; you will be disappointed. I saw this trick demonstrated several years ago and it's pretty much of a joke. Still, all in all, it's a decent enough of a standard kit and has enough trickery to amuse.

I bought this for my son's 11th B-day. It was about $60 plus (25 or so for shipping to Japan).He loves it, and is already able to do some of the tricks and "master them" to a reasonable degree. Quality is good enough for a "magician" type personality- and in someone who is dextrous and patient- and 11 years old, I would have probably broken some parts by my clumsiness. But if your kid is dexterous and patient ( does don push and pull stuff without out thinking) then the quality is "good enough"I certainly got my my moneys worth!! I read other reviews and before buying and some expressed disappointment in that they were "old tricks" and perhaps a more experienced magician would feel so. But for the beginner (or at least for my son) is is a 5 golden stars!!

Bought this as a birthday gift for my 11 year old grandson. He asked for a magic kit, and it is very hard to find something that is not too "babyish". I looked a long time and was excited when I found this kit. He opened it at the birthday party at our house last night! He was thrilled! My 37 year old daughter (his aunt), was thrilled! We all had so much fun, almost forgot about cake & ice cream! I had a note from my daughter-in-law at midnight, my grandson was watching the videos and having a great time! Clearly a big hit! I am very pleased and satisfied with Criss Angel. This is a boy who could barely take his eyes off of his iphone to watch Old Faithful erupt, so he is not easily impressed. I couldn't be happier.

I have always wanted a magic kit since I was a child and this one left nothing to be desired! This is great for not only children, but also adults. No matter what your age or level of experience is this kit provides the step by step instructions and accessories you need to become a pro magician! This kit has all of the classic tricks you could think of, but also many that you have probably never seen but which will nonetheless blow your mind. I recommend getting this kit for anyone who truly loves magic or who has a strong desire to learn more about magic.
