Slightly overpriced for what you get.
I believe one reviewer complained that the thread included in the kit wasn't thin enough to be invisible. However, if you read the instructions, you'll see that you're not supposed to use the whole thread, but instead extract one fiber strand from it. I was originally disappointed, since one of the main reasons I bought the kit was in the belief that it supplied the invisible thread, but extracting your own strand from the included thread isn't that difficult once you get the hang of it. As far as the instructions go, I would grade them a B+. They're fairly detailed, but diagrams are small. The included playing card is "Bridge" size - you'll probably want to substitute one of your own from a standard deck. Since explanation of the trick is fairly well-documented elsewhere on the internet, it may be cheaper and easier to assemble the components on your own rather than buying this kit.

Does include all the material to do it and an instructional video.
This product was great and the video that comes along with it was perfect in teaching ways to use this and brilliant ways to easily set it up. The downside of after doing it for several times I do mean maybe if I practiced for about every ten minutes or so I’d have to re set it up because the setup broke but other then that it was great and it is fun even to just practice and is not that hard to set up although it does require some preparation.

Needed to know how it works.
On a recent visit to Pier 39 in San Francisco me and some friends paid a visit to the Houdini magic store. During our visit we were treated to various card tricks (I knew how these were done because I own a trick deck,) But we also saw a fancy trick were the macgican made a card levitate and spin around his body. This trick actually perplexed me. So I had to buy this to learn how to accomplish this! Now I know how its done. I also know that I completely suck at preforming this trick.Price is good. Trick is hard as hell at doing correctly without looking like a moron.

Pretty darn amusing
I admit that this thing seemed idiotic when my son said he wanted it but I have to be honest - this ended up being very entertaining. It totally looks like you are making the card whirl and spin with no strings. I was impressed with it. We bought it some time ago and the thing is nearly worn out from being played with day in and day out. I would say we got our money worth. It was amusing and fun to watch the tricks being done.

My 9 year old son likes it
It was just what he wanted. He saw this at Houdini's Magic Shop in San Francisco and had to have it. We didn't realize that a piece of string had to be taped to the back of his EAR and what not... we thought it worked off of magnets or something else. Honestly, not sure WHAT we expected... But this is what he was looking for and it arrived within 3 days of ordering :)

Fun trick
The only negative to this trick was the amount of adult assistance to set it up for an 11 year old boy. He loves it and has learned a lot about the art of illusion

Still its a pretty cool start
I think one could buy the components separately for a LOT less. Still its a pretty cool start.

Its not incredible, but it is enjoyable
Its nothing mind boggling, but it kept my 11 year old nephew entertained all afternoon. He had a great time, and couldnt see the string at all. However, this wasnt really what I expected.
