Wow! Turned a wimpy 18" bass into a real kick drum!
Wow! Turned a wimpy 18" bass into a real kick drum! $29.99 from Long Island Drum Center; worth every penny. I am not a big review writer, but this makes the drum sound amazing. I would have never thought the original Remo UT batter head was that much of a difference. Unless you like the big cardboard box with a piece of paper taped across it sound, get one of these with the EQ3 resonant and you'll never go back.

this has been an awesome choice. Nice fat
After doing tons of research on batter heads for my little 18in kick drum, this has been an awesome choice. Nice fat, damp sound if tuned just right, and after adding some muffling!! Would buy again!
