Pretty decent little microscope, even if it cost 2-3 times more.
I primarily ordered the unit for micro soldering some electronics that are too small for the naked eye. I have since found it proved quite handy with identifying an infestation of insects on some of our plants and have had a bunch of fun looking at the tiny world of other stuff (texture of fabric & rope, skin & hair, wounds *scabs, etc...). The only downfall I have found in it is that when attempting to focus it on an item you have to manually adjust the focus knob (on the body of device) which always jars the microscope and causes vibrations which sometimee sends your subject rolling off. Still out of focus. It would be great if the focus wheel could be controlled by an internal servo via the app/wifi. This would eliminate that little problem. Other than that I find this to be a top notch unit. I look forward to it's assistance with more electronics repairs in the future, as well as who knows what.

Bad Description- NOT 1080p or 1000x
Pictures NOT 1080 as in description, they are 720p (1280 x 720 ), NO focus adjustment, just zoom. Measuring max zoom on 1mm tick comes out to around 460mm or 400x, not the described 1000x.Bad manual and hard to turn on and interface. It kinda works, but meeh, can do better for $20, so returning.

Great Nerd Toy
I was really surprised at the high quality of this product. I’m able to zoom in and see detail I had previously never noticed. A must have for the nerd on the go.

I value my privacy.
To install their app I have to give up my privacy such as location, device& app history, microphone, device ID& call information and wifi connection.very spooky since there's no reason for this app to request any of those other than picture file and camera.

Received the product, didn't understand the use method at the beginning, after a long time of research, it's finally OK. Remember to use the light source, otherwise it's difficult to find the focus. Children like it very much. It's good. It's very cost-effective.

Doesn't work for USB or Wifi
Never worked on the Windows machine or the iPhone. Just didn't show up for the computer (yes we downloaded their clunky app), and for the iPhone it kept turning itself off soon after connection to the app. We charged it literally the entire night before on the prescribed 5V 1A adapter. Also tried keeping it plugged in while trying to use it. Super disappointed.

Works great besides the base which it too light and has no means to bolt it down.
