Unfortunately I didn't actually get to use this product because I ASSumed that all stock handlebars are created equally. I have a Trek Marlin 5 MTB with stock handlebars. The diameter is too wide to mount this product so I had to send it back.That said, the product felt really solid. I played with the padding a bit and it seemed like quality material that would hold up. Sadly that's all I can really say. I was super excited too as I was going on my first 20 mile street ride. It arrived the day before the race as expected, packaged nicely and in pristine condition. Aside from mounting, there is no assembly required.The reason I gave 4 stars is because, even though it was ultimately my fault for assuming it would fit stock Trek handlebars, the product description should be updated. Trek MTBs are pretty common. If it doesn't fit, then it may not actually be made for MTBs as it states. Or maybe other brands have thinner handlebars. Idk. Other than that, this seemed to be a great product. Just bummed I had to return it.

Considering the price point my expectations were low, but these still fell short.The hardware is loosely package and it fell out all over the place and I started the install on my hands an knees searching for everything.The clamping mechanism is a pinch versus a double screw clamp. This causes the shim placement to cause a logarithmic increase in mount diameter, making it very hard to size properly.The shins are ribbed on one side but smooth on the other, this means you have to get the clamp very tight to be secure while riding. BUT the hardware material is so cheap the bolts are easily stripped, especially since it requires multiple adjustments because of the pinch style mountings.I bought this for an indoor bike attached to a trainer, and it isn’t even good enough for that.

I was not able to get this to do what I wanted--my fault. Someone else might find it to be just what they wanted.ThT

This is light weight and keeps me from wrecking my wrists while riding long distances. Due to losing parts shipping my old one I replaced it with this one. Most of the parts are the same, but the rests are better than the old foam rubber pads.

Å moins que j'ais mal lu la description du produit, celui-ci n'est pas fait pour des poignées de vélos hybrides. J'ai dû le déformer pour qu'il s'ajuste à ma poignėe de vélo, difficile à installer.
