Mama Kim's Kimchi Products (Spicy Napa Cabbage Kimchi, 16oz Jar)

I bought this to find out if I liked it before ordering the things to make it. It is awesome! It’s not too spicy, I thought it would be too hot but no, it is more mildly spicy. When the box came, it was similar to opening a gag gift where you keep unwrapping layer after layer! It’s well protected, no worry if the jar would break! I thought the price of the small jar was a bit high until I saw what all it took to protect it in the mail!

Very fresh arrives on a timely manner and very cold.... excellent flavor & excellent texture. I think at this point I've ordered four or five jars that have been consumed rather quickly as a matter of fact. Adding to previous review I need to figure out a way to put this stuff on auto order I eat it up within probably a week of it's arrival as a side dish to almost anything.

Good flavor, not extremely spicey, but a nice heat to it. Not a lot of "funk", very clean flavor.Price was a bit much, but that seems to be the nature of kimchi.Would I buy it again?Very likely, but still checking out options.

Generally it’s not a bad product. It tastes good but it does not have the heat I expected. It’s more sour than spicy? I’ve had homemade kimchi before and it’s been awhile. That’s why I ordered this. Stores don’t carry a decent kimchi in my area. I looked through the choices on Amazon and decided on this one. I will finish the jar as it’s not bad however, I don’t think I will be ordering this one again.

This is absolutely amazing! I buy this as a gift for family here in Pennsylvania and it's become a routine holiday gift favorite. I will be buying again (holiday or not).

i dont know how this kimchi compares to korean standards but my western taste buds were delighted. not too insanely hot/spicy, a great mix of veg, and my husband loved it. we will be getting it again
