Doesn't work in our car
We bought this mirror because of the remote activated light and the free sunshades. It just seemed easier to get the all-in-one package as opposed to shopping for separate pieces. When it arrived, we pulled it out of the box. I thought I spied a crack in the mirror from the start, but my husband (who was the one installing it) thought it was just a ripple in the protective film over the mirror. After the first look at the directions, we knew we were going to have a problem. This mirror isn't designed for our car. We have a Toyota Camry and the headrests in the back are not adjustable. They are molded right into the seat. So, we weren't able to do the criss-cross of the straps as the directions show. My husband had to improvise by threading straps under the seat belt and cramming them down in creases. Then, when we went to check the angle, we couldn't get it to angle right toward the car seat. After several attempts at repositioning, we finally had to spin the mirror upside down (with the light at the bottom) in order to get it at the right angle. It honestly took longer to install than our car seat base did. When we peeled the protective film off, we found out that the crack I saw was indeed a crack in the glass. By that point, we were so frustrated we didn't want to take it off to send it back.Basically, if we ever get in an accident, this thing isn't secure and clearly can shatter. I would return it, but we're due tomorrow and want to have at least something in the car to be able to keep an eye on our little girl.I acknowledge that most of this is buyer error. We should have bought one that worked with our car, but I didn't realize there was a difference. It would have been nice if it came with alternative installation options for cars with back seat head rests that you *can't* thread straps under.Other than that, I like the concept of the mirror and light. The light's remote is a bit like a garage door opener, but the clip is so tight that it doesn't clip onto our sun visors. So, we had to throw the remote in the center console.Basically, as great a concept, it definitely wasn't made for our car. Keep car style in mind when ordering.

Not for fixed headrests like advertised
I got this mirror because I have fixed headrests that don’t allow you to move them to put a strap under and around. I looked at SO many baby mirrors and this one said it fits all headrests, well, it lied. Even when I put it into a position to make a “X” like it says, the one way it is staying in place and not falling on my baby’s face would be glue and tape. With that being said, if you have an adjustable headrest, it’s great as far as the light, movement and width.

Meh... Not worth it
My kid gets more out of this mirror than I do. I think he likes to look at himself. I didn't really like the idea of getting a mirror simply because I rather my focus be on the road than looking at my baby. That being said, I sometimes get nervous when he gets super quiet, so I bit the bullet and bought this after a year of not having a mirror. I can't say I was missing much without one. I can kind of see him in this mirror. It's not super duper stationary even though it is very snug on the headrest, so it bounces while going down the road. The light on it is practically useless, but now that I am thinking about it, it could be because of my auto-dimming rear view mirror. I wouldn't buy for someone else or suggest this mirror to someone else. Perhaps I had higher expectations. The free sunshades are also kind of junk; don't purchase simply because it's a two-fer.

Must have a head rest
I bought this mirror specifically because it advised that it could be used with any car. My back seat does not have an adjustable head rest but a stationary one rather and this mirror was not easy to install. Only one side of the strap can go on and even then I had to force it on and it's not very sturdy. It rattles when the road is bumpy and makes viewing my baby a bit shaky. Also, the batteries for the light are already dead (had for a couple months) and I've only used the remote maybe 3 times to turn on the night. The batteries drain even when the light itself isn't on. Not impressed

Great product
Works great, does not drain batteries quickly like other reviews said. I love this, I can see my babies in the dark car. The light has two strengths, hit the button once for low light, twice for high light, and a third time to turn it off. My only issue is it vibrates when the car moves so it’s hard to see perfectly clearly if going over bumps but it’s worth it anyways!

Was good for a short time. Now it’s in the garbage.
Mirror works great! Haven’t tried the light feature yet though. Was happy to find a reasonably priced mirror with light as it’s frustrating to not be able to see the baby when we’re driving when it’s dark -which is frequent in the fall and winter in Seattle. The only negative so far is that after installing it, the mirror shifted/moved, but it might just be due to not tightening it enough. Will update if it keeps doing that as that would be annoying.**Update** 5/29/21The light feature worked great in the beginning but went out fast and then the battery corroded easily and leaked through the mirror so replacing batteries was not an option. We had to throw it out. Also- the mirror itself would often slip and fall out of place so we were constantly having to readjust. Changing this rating to 2 stars. Disappointed.

Needs longer assembly straps
This mirror is great. Butttt the clip straps are not long enough even when you loosen them all the way still not long enough for the thickness of my fixed headrests. Also it reflects the sun soooo bad right into my baby’s face (my windows aren’t tinted yet). I do however love the light and the way you can move it. I have it on a headrest offset from her car seat (my middle seat headrest is too thick and shorter so it won’t assemble on there good) and just have it turned towards my baby so that I can see her from my rear view mirror and she can see me from her mirror into my mirror. Overall it allows me to have eyes on my child at all times and I am okay with that. Not 5 stars simply just because the straps aren’t long enough to assemble where I originally intended for it to be.
