Monster High Travel Catrine DeMew Scaris City of Frights Exclusive

When this doll first came out, it was the "typical" Monster High story that almost made me stop collecting the entire line several times. This "exclusive" doll comes out and is jacked up to over 100 dollars online, when she is actually a cheap Wal-Mart doll that should cost $20. Then many idiots online probably pay some insane price for her, only to realize she isn't even as good of quality as a regular Monster High doll. She comes with no pet and not a lot of backstory that makes her seem like a half-developed character.I wasn't going to walk into Wal-Mart just for this thing so I waited a few weeks and once people realized that this doll isn't that great, the price went down to normal here on Amazon. So Mattel makes a ton of these cheapo dolls but they refuse to reissue some of the rare ones and they expect people to pay over $200 dollars for a flimsy doll that has only been out a few years. The toy scalping problem with these dolls has gotten better but it is still a problem that Mattel claims they "don't know about" and they don't seem to want to correct it. Yet this pricing issue happens EVERY TIME a "hot" new doll comes out, yet magically smaller companies manage to make enough toys for everyone and keep their prices the same...odd...Mattel has lost a lot of my business with these dolls. I am not going to wait for deliveries early in the morning at ghetto stores like Wal-Mart just to beat the scalpers and get the Monster High doll I want. I also am not going to pay five times what the doll is worth and run around like a desperate idiot trying to get every character. I also am sick of seeing kids cry when some adult collector gets the doll they wanted and Target doesn't have enough and the doll is $100 online. Monster High is a great LOOKING toy line but the quality is still cheap and Mattel still pretends to "not be able" to make enough dolls for everyone...Yeah right...I am not buying it...Catrine DeMew is a cute doll but her tail falls off, her joints were loose and her hair was cut uneven. When I saw the cartoon, I was also really disappointed that they hardly show her and she has few spoken lines. Catrine's character has almost nothing to do with the "Scaris" plot. For all the hubbub made over this doll when she came out, I am not overjoyed with her. When I saw the photos I thought she was going to be a lot prettier. I still am collecting Monster High for now but I have most of the old characters and I am sick of the price bouncing around online whenever a cool, new doll comes out. So yeah, she's cute but don't pay a crazy price for her!

Monster high is one of the coolest doll lines ever released. I have wanted catrine for a while now, and now I can finally add her to my collection. :) She is a very cool doll, but she could be better quality. Her bag pops apart a lot, but that is my only major problem with her. She does have stiff hair, so be careful not to touch it too much or it will be ruined. All together, she's a beautiful doll and I would highly recommend her. She is absolutely beautiful, love her makeup and clothes. She's my favorite of the monster high line and I am thrilled I finally have her 💕💕💕 and that I was able to get her at a reasonable price. As much as I LOVE this doll I would never pay the crazy amounts some people out there do. To each their own, but this doll while awesome is not wort hundreds of dollars. The quality does not warrant that, and I don't see how anyone with any sense would pay that much. That's just my opinion though:)

I ordered this doll online for my daughter's birthday as walmart did not have it in store or online, though they offered it for less. I did see it in the store, but not until after her birthday (of course). She is a pretty doll, but we seem to have trouble with tails staying on the dolls that have them. My daughter was very excited, so I guess it was worth the extra. Four stars instead of five due to the price.

Unfortunately, there's a paint error on her face. A fairly gnarly one. Might be something I can fix myself if I unbox her, and the skin tone is from the material used and not more paint. I will consult the repaint masters on this one before I do anything. All other packaging and crafting seems well in order! Lovely doll!

10 year old daugter ordered by accident. Hit one click buy that was too close to wish list. (Disabled now) . I let her keep it and earn it. Partly because we haven't seen jt before. Low and behold walmrt has it for half the price. And no shipping costs. Still a cute doll.

This doll is somewhat hard to find in stores so i ordered it asap. The only problem though was that her hair was a little messed up when i got it and since i collect these and do not open them it kinda stinks but its ok. Love the doll anyway.

My daughter is a avid Monster High doll fan and adores all the dolls. This like all the rest of the dolls, is artfully done and well detailed. The outfits are cool and their a neat twist on a doll. Plus the prices are reasonable as long as you buy them early and don't wait until they become a collector's item which is the case with most of the boy dolls.

I recently purchased this doll for my daughter's 7th birthday. It is a typical monster high doll. She is happy with it.My only beef is with all these dolls in general. I wish the hands, arms and legs did not come apart. Little kids tend to lose little pieces and then the doll is no good anymore. Just wish they were all more durable.

Lovely doll. Unique design and o9ne of the prettiest Monster High characters. Lovely box art. The only thing to worry about is that at times this hair style can have lots of gel in it and can be hard. I fixed this by brushing my characters hair through softly until it bounced how I wanted.

Our 8 year old daughter thought this particular doll was out of production as no longer available in shops. She was very impressed to open her parcel and find it on Christmas Day. She loves cats, so chose this one. Service and delivery excellent.

Item arrived within a day or two and is another beautiful doll which my granddaughter loves.
