Up until this tape purchase I used blue painters tape to hold my paper in place. This was recommended by an online teacher and I thought I’d give it a try. Fantastic, no more water leaks under the paper. This is the only art tape I’ll use from now on.

Perfect weigh, easy to work with, and a good price. I use quite a bit of artist tape as I mat my 8x12 prints for sale. This tape is thick enough that it doesn't curl when you use it, and everything stays properly in place.

I used it for my watercolors. It’s also good for taping watercolors to the back of your matting.

My use for this tape is to hang paper on a wall basically as a big flip-chart. I want easy removal without ruining the paint, but strong enough to hold the paper. This seems to be doing the trick.

I'm a needlepointer and need tape like this to wrap around the edge my canvases so threads don't catch. Perfect.

This seems a good strong tape if your concern is NOT for it being repositionable. In my case, I primarily wanted acid-free tape that was self-adhesive and thus a bit easier to use than starch tape or other tape I have that must be moistened before use. So, this product meets my needs for wrapping paintings in glassine for shipment, and will likely be what I use for making hinge mats or mounting photographs that I don't forsee remounting. However, because the repositionable characteristic is important and the product is labeled as such by the manufacturer, I cannot rate the tape as any better than "okay". I tested the repositionability by taping a sheet of plain bond paper to a piece of foam core, let it sit for 15 minutes, then carefully removed the tape. The result was that the bond paper was damaged, the tape removing the top layer of the paper. The foamcore paper backing was intact but "bubbled" as if on the verge of being torn loose by the tape as well. I do not recommend this tape for use with photographs or delicate papers that may need to be removed or remounted.

This tape is perfect for making little signs and notes using a Sharpie. Glad there is so much on a roll. It is a great product!

This tape is terrible, you might as well use masking tape. It rips and destroys prints.

Thank goodness for proper tape. If you’re from the US and missing proper artist tape this is it. Expensive with shipping but worth it if you need it.
