The Grape Ape of (wood) clamps
Just what I hoped but way more than I expected. The F rail is the same type of heavy rail used in the Revo parallel clamps. WAY biger than what I expected. These are much much beefier than your traditional F-style clamps you get at lowes or homedepot. cast iron jaws are equally as beefy and the acme thread screw is topped off with an equally beefy looking handle.Very pleased with them. Medium duty doesn't do them justice. Neither does the picture. I used these to glue up 80" long 3" wide slabs of rock maple for a workbench top and they are just what the doctor ordered. Deep reach of 7 inches allows uncommon clamping reach and the pressure is good too. They seem like they can handle about as much Grape Ape as you could put down that handle. The only thing I'd change if I could is a T handle to get more torque in there. Keep in mind. I'm using these for wood. The metal work guys would laugh at the clamping pressures we need with dead tree carcass. For Woodwork they are perfect.

Strongest and deepest depth clamp of its kind
This is literally the only clamp of it’s kind I could find that was deep enough to clamp thick wooden trim down to the side of a door or window opening so I could screw it in place. The depth is enough to reach inside the 2x6 wall of the house to get a good tight grip.

Best clamps. Nothing else compares.
Hubby does s lot of wood projects, these are the best.

these are perfect.
I have had the shorter version of these for many years. The new one is of the same quality. While they are labeled "medium duty", I have done a lot of heavy duty clamping with them. I have 4 of these and will probably buy 1 more. If a clamp with a long reach is needed, these are perfect.

really well made
I am an engineer and I appreciate when something is well made. This is very well made, beefy, solid. This clamp will do the job. It is exactly what I needed for a deep strong clamp.

Reached deep clamp area
I needed the deep reach and this clamp worked great. I will buy more of them.

They do what they do very well
7" throat, very beefy. That's the bottom line. If you need deep-throated clamps these are a good choice. Minor quibbles: 1. They're heavy. Comes with being large and beefy, of course, but there it is. 2. The plastic jaw cover on the fixed jaw comes off too easily, 3. Round wooden handle? Really? There are much better handle designs than a simple cylinder, see any decent screwdriver,These are well-executed, otherwise, and a good choice for those jobs where you need more reach than a standard clamp allows
