I'm editing my review. In spite of the large size of the blender base being a problem for me, I've been using this daily for smoothies and as long as I get my frozen pieces small enough, my smoothies have been good.I'm disappointed in this blender. I've never used a personal sized blender before, but I expected the base to be smaller as I'm looking for something to take in an RV. The base is not that much smaller than my Vitamix. And because the base is so large, to screw the bottom on the blending jar is very difficult. I had to use a towel to be able to grip it enough to tighten or loosen it from the container. And I'm used to the power of a Vitamix and know this can't compare, but it says not to blend for more than one minute and to wait 10 minutes between multiple blendings. I put a half of a frozen banana, cut into less than 1 inch chunks, some almond milk, peanut butter, and a date in and blended for one minute. There were still lots of pieces of the date and some peanuts from the crunch peanut butter left in the mix. I have buyer's remorse for sure and wish I had looked at this item in a store before purchasing.

Love this blender! We use this vs our ninja blender. It's easier to use and clean for our morning shakes. This is our second one. Purchased our first one about five years ago. Unfortunately the blades will dull over the years (that is for any blender) Still worked fine but wanted a new one. And for the price you cant beat it. I have seen other reviews of people not seating the cup with blade top correctly into the base. That is in fact the user's error for not seating it correctly. Once you place the cup into the base you have to turn it clockwise for it to lock into place.(read the directions) it will beep. Then press start. Blend, then press stop. Remove cup. I did do this incorrectly a few times, that will tear up the plastic teeth that spin the blade. Again, user error. Will buy again in five years if it's still on the market. Side note, we used our previous blender three times a day every day for those five years.

I am updating a previous negative review I left for this product. After extensive use I have managed to work around the previous problems I was having. Let me be clear: this is a budget blender. You can't expect it to work like a $300 blender. However once I learned "how to handle it" it makes a darn good smoothie at a good value. Tip 1: Tighten the lid as tight as you can. Tip 2: If you add ice to your smoothie, stop immediately after it rumbles through the ice (happens quickly). Tighten the lid again if it is at all loose. Whenever this machine crushes ice it vibrates a lot and the lid will frequently loosen from the vibration. Tip 3: Add orange juice or other liquid to your smoothie. The more you add the easier time the machine will have. Tip 4: When making smoothies I find that the blades will stop mixing several times. Each time you see and hear the blades stop mixing, stop it, check the lid for tightness, and then give it a good shake. Sometimes I have to do this a half dozen times to get through a smoothie.Overall this is a budget-friendly smoothie maker that actually does make very good smoothies. I have used VitaMix blenders and Blendtec blenders. This blender is not even close to those fine machines in quality, performance or durability. However, this blender is nearly ten times cheaper. The shortage of torque (power) with this machine is annoying. You can't just turn it on and walk way. You have to baby sit it and work with it. I have actually grown to like the lower power of this machine. I can consistently get good textured smoothies. With the professional blenders it was very easy to over blend. Their power could turn a smoothie batch into something more like juice in the blink of an eye. With this blender you don't have to worry. It is slow blending which gives you ample time to stop it before it gets too liquidy.This machine is very, very loud. The longer I have owned it the worst it sounds and the louder. Right now it is as loud as a circular saw. It also sounds and smells like the motor, bearings, etc.. will give out any day. This blender is not one that will likely like last through many smoothies. I have probably made 50 - 80 smoothies and I can tell it is nearing the end of its life. To me it ultimately comes down to economics. I can buy 8 to 10 of these machines for the price of a Vitamix or Blendtec. So, rather than fork out a pile of a cash for a professional blender, I am choosing to buy cheap expecting to replace periodically. In the short term I find it the more economical route to great smoothies.

This little blender is great!The containers are sufficiently large, the blades are well made, easy to attach and use.So far I'm pretty much just using it to mix a meal replacement powder (was using a shaker bottle before and it left it chunky).It's very powerful and gets it mixed smooth in seconds - sometimes I'll throw in some fruit, yogurt, etc. to make a smoothie, it works great.If I had any complaints they would be that it's loud, much louder than I expected - but the motor is also much more powerful than I expected so that explains it I suppose.Also the "auto blend" button seems pointless to me, every time it seems to just stop after a few seconds and doesn't really leave it well blended.No complaints overall, well priced - would recommend it.

Started smoking when I went to use it and outer case got really hot to the point where the metal showed mild exterior heat indicators of elevated internal temperature. Unplugged it and managed to get it out of the house and onto my gravel walkway where it sat still smoking for several minutes. Guess it’s time for a new one some day.

Ce mélangeur Cosori est puissant (800 w) et très facile à utiliser et à nettoyer. Il possède une fonction très utile de marche automatique qui libère votre doigt. Parfait pour les soupes, les jus et les purées. On peut même y mettre des glaçons. Comme les lames tournent très vite, la durée d'utilisation est très écourtée. Par conséquent, le bruit ne dérange pas. Je le recommande vivement !!!

Je pense que je l’ai acheté ça fait plus de 2 ans et il fonctionne toujours et il fait de bon smoothly et j’en mets de la glace aussi, il est robuste comme robot.

I love the capacity of this, great for making smoothies. I’ve been using it daily for about two months. I like that I don’t have to apply pressure for it to operate like other brands. I can push the button and walk away. Yesterday I accidentally left a plastic spoon in the blender when I mixed my smoothie. The spoon was chopped into small pieces - that’s how powerful the blade/motor is. I bought two smoothie makers at the same time - the other one is a ninja. I prefer this one and highly recommend it.

It's a good blender that gets smoothies made. The blades are not sharp but effective and works. Its easy to clean and has just enought blending power. If you're only looking to make smoothies, this is worth it.

I really like this personnel blender. Easy to use, does not take much countertop space and it is very easy to clean.
