JETBeamBC40 PRO Flashlight

I purchased a BC40 in April, 2012 and have used it extensively at work over the years.Recently the switch stopped working after, easily, a million cycles. I attempted to contact JETBeam customer service to order a new tailcap to no response.Luckily the tailcap from my Nitecore MH12 (EDC) fit and functioned. Since Nitecore have parts available on their site, I ordered a tail cap from them and will continue to use my old BC40 until it dies.I like the PRO model with more modes, additional run time on lower settings and switching between brightness levels on-handed. However, the light is longer with a head that's significantly larger.

This is a fantastic searchlight using 2 commonly available 18650 rechargeable batteries (not included). The run time has been surprisingly good for me. I have had great prior results with JETBeam products and did not hesitate to try this one. I carried this light every night for over 6 months on duty and used it regularly as it throws huge amounts of light. Now that I am no longer on the job, I use this light at my rural property when you want to know what's going on in a distant field. You can push the button on the head to get lower settings but the light is actuated on the tail cap. It really throws close to 3000 lumens and the distance is incredible. Best quality budget searchlight I know of.

Their warranty service is useless. You have to send the light to China to get it repaired UNDER Warranty, if you can get a response from someone in China.
