I just bought a new stovetop for counter from Whirlpool. I read before that the new burners with the safety design were not the greatest. We used it for 2 days and was fine until boiling water and making popcorn. Burner kept shutting off and was soo frustating. I saw how other people were changing burners to the older ones and I ordered these burners after I looked up several. You do have to measure the size of burner as mine fit perfect. They work great and water is boiling again. Still learning though how much the dial you leave on for simmering or cooking. Well worth it!!

I searched for quite awhile for quality burners. These are great, they fit perfect, look good and they work exactly how they should. I have no complaints. My husband was extremely happy that I replaced our old ones, it’s like cooking on a new stove.

I have lived at my little apartment for years and my stove top has always had burner coils that leaned , so my pans are always tilted as I cook . My landlord knew about my issue but has never considered it a problem to be fixed . it occured to me to see what amazon has and I found this whirlpool brand . After reading a review from a woman who said that her stove was from the mid 1990s and she had success with this brand . I put them in my stove top burners and I am thrilled I ordered new drip pans with these new burners and wow its like I have a new stove . These burners are a better quality and made very well and sturdy , as I compare it to what Iam putting in the recycling bin today . Its a perfect fit and as I turned the burner on it instantly heated up .I am a very HAPPY customer and I recomend this KITCHEN BASICS 101 if you are looking to improve your cooking space , great price and great quality

Minor scratches on surface, but not noticeable once I started using the burners. I checked them all right away and I’m happy with the performance. Good buy!

Fit my late model Whirlpool. Cleaned them up with a washcloth, and soap and water before installing. Inserting the element into the drip pan, and then inserting them together makes it easier.

My stove is 22 yrs old and gets a hard workout daily. yesterday, a burner suddenly broke...the part under it that supports it broke. Well, 22 yrs of hard service, OK. In the past I might have looked for a store to buy a a new one but instead I looked here. Honestly, for what I might have expected for one new burner I could replace ALL of them...after all, old is old. They arrived just hours after ordering, as did the new drips pans I decided to spring for. OK, I did have to work at it just tad to get them fitting down in the drip pans but they do fit and fit fine. The plug in was easy and flawless. Pull out the old, plug in the new. I fired them all up and let them burn off any coatings as some recommended...I did not smell anything. I cooked tonight, all worked. All in all, Im happy and my stove looks new again. The burners seem to sit nice and flat. Oh and made in N America....not China so thats a plus.

... these burners do fit and they do work .. but they may be not the best quality ... my pots and pans do not sit flat on them.

As soon as I received them in the mail, I plugged them in and turned them on to get the first burn out of the way. The large burners would just go to max temps, regardless of the settings. I burned the hell out of several items. I have kids, and this is a big concern for safety. On level 1, they went red hot.
