I absolutely LOVED the idea of an all in one hot yoga ...
I absolutely LOVED the idea of an all in one hot yoga mat and towel, but unfortunately I had to return it. The first use was okay but when I washed it I noticed that the second time I used it the mat started to slip. I tried it again and decided that the slipping of the mat made it unsafe for me to practice on. It may work in a non hot class but I think the humidity of the room and the sweating made this mat slip. Maybe they should change the description and not say it's for hot yoga. Quality was great and when washed mat came out like new. Just don't get it for hot yoga.

Love the towel surface!
I love this mat because, unlike the rubber mat I had before, I don't slide on it. The towel keeps my feet and my hands right where they should be during poses such as downward dog. It is a little thin, however, you can always double it up with the rubber mat you no longer want on top, or use a towel or blanket for knees here and there.

Slips during hot yoga classes!!
My only problem is that I still slip during hot yoga. I also find that the thickness is wonderful but not for balancing. I did throw it in the washer and voila, clean that easy !!!

Better as a towel
I was so excited to buy this mat for my mom. I found out that she wasn't very fond of it, and so I tried it out for myself. I took it to class, and I couldn't even use it. The mat is so thin that it 100% does not function on its own (unless you're okay with practicing with no mat at all.... in which case, what is the point?). It does wash well... but honestly, functions more as a heavy towel for your mat. Do not buy this mat to use as a mat....you will regret it.

I really like the simplicity of this mat - not having to bring a mat and a towel. It works well with no slipping during hot yoga and the bottom side sticks to the floor so it does not slide around. It is thin, though. For some positions, it would be nice to have a little more cushion, like I had with my older regular mat. I love that you can just throw it in the wash and hang it dry.

GREAT mat, especially if you sweat....
Love love love this mat...I do hot yoga and sweat terribly. I am not slipping at all on this mat. I am 5'6' and my only wish is that it was a little longer...other than that...this mat is GREAT

Yoga mat
The underside of the mat is nice and sticky, as you would want it to be. The material on the top is a bit slippery, though. Hard to 'plant' my hands and feet in some positions.
