KeyMote 3-in-1
I bought this as well as the smaller 3-in-1 by POWER A (this one for me and the other for a friend) and have to say I wish I had bought two of the POWER A ones. The joysticks on this one are a nice feature that the other one doesn't have and the charging cradle is convenient but that's where this one's significant features end.First of all, the sliding function is not very smooth. The POWER A model felt like the sliding was more deliberate with consistent movement between each end. There is a lot of redundancy in the buttons as well. Some of them, like Start/Select and S/X/C/T, obviously need to have one on the remote and then one on the keyboard. But does there really need to be three R1s, three R2s, and three Xs (the enter button on the remote apparently functions the same as X)?Additionally, on the keyboard, R1, R2 and R3 (in that order left to right) are above the right analog stick which is normal. However, on the left side, L1, L2 and L3 (in that order left to right) above the left stick should be reversed to be L3, L2 and L1.The last gripe I have is how it affects the PS3. First of all, the charging cradle HAS to be plugged in to the PS3's USB, whether or not it needs a charge (I'm guessing the cradle works like the wireless transmitter as well). What this does is makes the 3-in-1 default controller 1 when the PS3 is turned on. Also, and I haven't quite figured this one out yet, when the cradle is plugged into the PS3 for some reason the S/X/C/T buttons on my other Dualshock 3s don't work in Gran Turismo 5. As soon as I unplugged it and restarted the system the buttons worked again.Bottom line: Get the other POWER A 3-in-1. I got that one for my friend and wish I had gotten it for myself.

not so sure...
I returned mine. QWERTY keyboard isn't very ergonomically friendly. Couldn't get it to charge fully even after being on cradle all night. Paired easily, but joystick features didn't work great. Decided to go with the PS3 branded one instead... it's on it's way now! Spend the money on the PS3 products, never had a problem with anything they make.

interesting
the remote is good as a remote.the keyboard is good, but i wish the buttons were plastic on it so i could hear and feel a click when inputted correctly.i tried playing uncharted 2 with it. Best time I have ever had. My friends and I have never laughed that hard. this is the worst function of the remote. they should have forgotten the control and put more space for the keyboard.Overall a good device, but not great. The Germans will get it right the next time. I mean thy created the VW bug lets make something efficient, cost effective, and smaller next time.I do not regret buying this.

Very nice
This product is very well priced when you compare a wireless mouse, keyboard, and a remote to use on your PS3. The only down fall I have seen is that you can't turn the PS3 on with this remote, not a real big issue though.

piece of junk, I sent it back...
The item looks refurbished with scratches all over it. The pause button didn't work and the rubber buttons kept getting stuck under the plastic frame. Over all looks like the people who design it never tried to actually use it.Good thing I got my money back from Amazon.

I like it!
First thing's first - this is cheaper than buying a remote + a keyboard. Really, how often do you use either? You can get by just fine using the PS3 controller. I have been debating over a remote control because my wife refuses to learn how to use the game controller, but would like to not rely on me to operate the blu-ray player! However, I could not decide to go with the IR remote which (according to reviews) cannot turn the PS3 on/off, or if I should go with the Bluetooth remote which could control everything. The main reason I bought this is because it was on sale for $20. Honestly, I would not have purchased it for $50. It is not worth $50, but it is definitely worth $20. It is BIG (thick). Literally, it is 1 inch thick, it feels like a TV remote from the 80s. It also does feel a tad bit cheap, dropping it on ceramic tile from about 4 feet would most likely crack the plastic. This remote can not only control everything using the remote (playback/navigation function), but it can also type, move the mouse cursor when in internet mode, and also input text easily. If you can input text on a slider phone with a qwerty keypad, then you can use this thing, too! It has a function that also allows you to play games. It has "joysticks" much like the PSP and, although I would not use this big bulky thing to actually play a game for a long while, you CAN use it and still operate a game fairly well. I played Modern Warfare 2 with it no problem!I understand why there are bad reviews. This thing should NOT be $50 if I paid that much for it I would be angry, too. However this is a great product for $20 and you will definitely be satisfied if you can manage to find it at that price. However, if you already have a keyboard, just buy the BT remote. Likewaise, if you already have the BT remote, just buy a cheap keyboard.
