Useful and safety
Not bad at all this small appliances, I put it next to the trash can, help kill mosquitoes and moth. Now cannot see any of the little bugs.

Top Quality
I like this Mosquito Killer, it has been designed in a well engineered way. It consumes less electricity because of LED technology and works fine. The fan at the back sucks Mosquitoes & other insects and then electric Shock and kill them. Easy to clean with little brush. I placed in my garage. It can be hanged with chain or directly on wall. It works very well.

Works very well if you also buy an attractant
Does this kill mosquitoes, yes it does. The light actually does not really attract mosquitoes. What does kill them is when the fan sucks them in and electrocutes them?. They are not strong fliers so if they get close enough, they will be killed.What I do know is that mosquito attractants do work. So I bought one and put in front of this on my patio table. I always find some mosquitoes dead in the morning. Even without the attractant, there are a few dead mosquitoes. But there are much more if you just place an attractant in front of the grill.The mosquito population is drastically reduced. They used to be swarms, now see one or two. It is much better that the Flowtrons I have that do not have a fan.

Most effective at night
I've had a couple of flies enter the house when I open the door and got tired of chasing them with my swatter. Saw this along with good reviews, and thought it was a good cheap way to catch them passively.The first week I ran this all day, "in a dark corner" as the instructions prescribe, but flies did NOT even care nor attracted to it. Just as I was beginning to think this was a scam, I decided to just run the device at night, all night.The next day it had caught a few flies! Encouraged, I left it on the next night as well. To my shock, it ended up capturing nearly 20 flies over 3 nights. Mind you I only witnessed "one or two" flies flying about my home but I guess that was two, too many. I have never even seen more than 3 flies at a time, so I guess they only came out of hiding at night :-)Bottom line:Nighttime, use this device. IT WORKSDaytime, not worth it. This doesn't even work in dimly lit or very dark daytime areas. You are better off chasing flies with a swatter.

Not as strong as I was hoping for, would try a higher powered model for outdoor/patio use.
I was expecting a bug zapper that had a little more power, as this one doesnt quite perform as I was expecting it to. It does work with smaller bugs/insects, but has a hard time with any medium or larger sized ones that happen to slip through the guard. Yes, its easy to use, barely any zapping noise, and is easy to flean, but that doesnt necessarily mean its a GREAT bug zapper. I would personally have bought a round, higher powered one if I had known how weak this model really is..

Just a purple light
I didn't have high expectations for this and yet I was very disappointed with it that I had to return it, which is something I rarely do.To me, this isn't a zapper, not even a repellant. I tested it in 3 different locations in our house and it didn't kill one small mosquito or any bug. This didn't work as a repellant either so it was a complete waste of money & time.

Doesn't work and noisey
We have tried this for 1 month and 2 days. I have seen no bugs or fruit Flys zapped. It is also noisy. We originally had it up high with no luck. Then we put it by the fruit where we noticed a few Flys and still nothing.Unfortunately I had the purchase date wrong so I can not return it which I would.

It's an okay bug snatcher
It's a okay product it gets little bugs like mosquitos or moths but that's it an not alot maybe 50 a night I'm in country of Louisiana we have junebugs,huge mosquitos it doesn't get them .but its quiet also doesn't get flies.
