Lightning Bug Glow in The Dark Artist Professional Oil Paint Luminescent Phosphorescent Self-Luminous Paint (22ml)

These paints are going to look amazing added to my oil paints! Definitely pleased with them and would recommend and purchase again!

I haven't painted on canvas with this just yet, but I did a test on a piece of white paper, took it out in the sun for a couple minutes. Brought it back in and could not believe how bright it was. I look forward to painting with this glow oil.

This product is amazing, I used a pallet knife to mix and apply the paint. The glow is so intense, this is one of a kind paint. I recommend buying a $2 blue light laser, as I used in the 3rd picture. The laser marks are not permanent. however, its so entertaining.

Glows great out of the tube but when it dries, it turns powdery.

Doesn’t work at all. Pasty and grainy, it’s is not a paint. Doesn’t spread with a brush or any other means. I had to pack it on, like I would a grainy facial scrub.Terrible waste of money, especially for the expensive price and the size of the tube.

I got lighting bug, for full context.Fat on lean didn't work for layering, and I don't think it would mix well with other traditional colors; maybe it can be mixed with translucent colors and still glow. My purpose was to create a ghost painting that only shows in the dark over a landscape, and it worked great as a layer over a dry to the touch painting. The glow is strong-even over darker under layers. It's still a grainy texture and mostly translucent, but that's just a limitation of the glow pigments. They can only be ground down so much before they don't glow,Still recommend it, just be aware of it's limitations. I tried making my own oil glow paints with pigments and linseed oil and though it worked, it was a hassle and this paint is definitely finer grain and a way smoother application. I've done some really cool glow in the dark pieces with acrylics, but for some pieces, you want to use oils, and this is the ONLY oil glow paint on the market. Will I be buying more from glow cubed? Highly likely.As a side note- buy a cheap black light/flashlight. It's essential to properly use this paint.

I quite enjoy this paint! I used it on top of watercolor and acrylic for a fun nighttime pop and its just stunning.
