Good, but guard sucks
This grinder works well for what I use it for. It is not super powerful, but it does the job. It is compact, the brake works wonderfully, and quality is what you expect from Makita. There are 2 things I dislike. The toggle switch is tricky to operate - it requires it to be pushed up and sorta held in just the right way - I rarely can get it to stay on my first try which is annoying. The second annoyance is the guard is terrible. You cannot move it all the way around the tool and there are a lot of very common positions where you cannot get the latch to tighten it tight because it runs into the tool. It seems to be very poorly thought out and comes off as frustrating and cheap.
