Works like it should
I bought this as a replacement for my old one. There was no set up or anything. I literally just put batteries in it and it worked. Just make sure that it is for your brand of tv.

It works just like the original remote that came with the TV

Easy to use
Compared to most remotes that look like the control panel to a spaceship, this is very simple to use. They just don't seem to last too long.

Excellent Remote
Ordered this remote as a replacement for an existing universal remote that I had and was acting up (my TV was purchased used and came with no official remote from the manufacturer). The remote worked flawlessly as soon as I put the batteries in, no additional setup required. Have been using the remote for several weeks now and is much more responsive than the prior universal remote that I had. Would recommend if you need a replacement remote and you have a covered Television model.

Worked right out of the box. No programming needed.
This worked right out of the box on my Black Friday special Insignia 39" Roku TV. No major complaints against the remote outside of wishing the streaming service provider buttons like "Sling" and "Google Play" buttons were blank and customizable. But for the price and immediate functionality out of the box, I'm very satisfied.

Batteries NOT included
Works as good as the remote that came with my Roku TV.However, you should have some AAA batteries on handbecause they are not included.
