MY ORDER OF JIFFY BANANA MUFFIN MIX CAME TODAY AND I MADE THESE DELICIOUS BANANA MUFFINS AND MY SON LOVED THEM AND SO DID MY HUSBAND THEY ARE GREAT FOR THE MORNING IF YOU DON'T HAVE TIME FOR BREAKFAST WITH A CUP OF COFFEE OR TEA THEY ARE EASY TO MAKE REAL QUICK BUT I DID HAD A BANANA TO HAVE A MORE OF A BANANA FLAVOR BUT THEY ARE WORTH THE PRICE 6 FOR 9.12

Good!
Although this cornbread is different from the kind I grew up with, it tastes good and is easy to prepare. That’s hard to beat in this busy world.

The Classic, but remember...
You must still add egg and milk to make your muffins, this is not an all in one add water mix. Truthfully, making it from scratch is almost as easy. However, it is nice to have this around, for coatings, for sealed smaller portions of cornmeal that keeps easier, and doesn't take much to make fresh muffins. You can easily add ingredients to this to make your muffins special.

This has long been a standard. We mix other ingredients for taste.
If you just want an out of the box corn bread, this may not be sufficient. But for us this is something like Bisquick, a great staple departure for real cooking. Overpriced nowadays.

Sister is happy!
My sister could not find the banana mix in any stores. I couldn't find it either. Thanks, Amazon, for carrying this item. My sister is very happy, she really enjoys this muffin.

Taste is sweeter than other brands
Our family loves this cornbread. I still make homemade cornbread as it depends on what it will go with. Our cornbread dressing is from scratch but I use jiffy to make crab cakes.
