RuggedGrade100 Watt LED NextGen III LED Flood Light - 14,500 Lumen - 5000K Flood Mount - with photocell

Solid. Well built. Rugged. This is a great little (relatively speaking) flood light. It is about the size and width of a laptop. The lamps are actually bulbous in that they protrude out from the flat surface of the enclosure (think of an eyeball) - this could be a liability if you are not careful... not sure yet. This unit produces a good amount of light. However, I think it could benefit from a larger "reflector" like other LED lights have. The lamps only generate a small amount of heat and are very comfortable to the touch even after using for a long period of time. The unit comes with an exposed 2 foot cable with 3 wires on the end and a separate, detached, power cord with 3-prong plug attached. This is provided in the event that you are not planning to permanently mount the unit via hard wiring to your electrical service. I did not like the idea of having to splice the detached power cord into the exposed wiring so I opted to open the back case of the unit, remove the wire fragment with the exposed wiring, and simply wire a new 6 foot 3-prong cord directly to the lamps. This obviated the need for a splice. I would like to note that this was relatively simple to do and does not require much technical expertise to do it properly. By opening the unit it gave me a chance to see the internals. The connections take advantage of exterior grade wire nuts (with silicone waterproofing) and crimps.The back case is sealed with a rubber membrane and the cord that protrudes the unit is sealed with a rubber grommet and effective strain relief. This unit was obviously constructed for exterior use and damp conditions. I wish the power cord was attached by default vs. me having to add this. I wish the reflectors were larger. If the price was a bit more competitive I would have given it another star. Overall this is a great unit.

Super super pleased with these lights. Ive been using 400 watt Sodium Vapor lights for years. 20+.. great lights, dusk to dawn, did a fantastic job and I really liked the orangish hue. Front and back yard.... then one day had an electrician come over and he noticed them, said they are costing about 3 dollars a day.. times 2= 6 dollars a day x's 30 = 180. dollars a month.. Finally lightning took out the back yard one so I needed to replace. Found these and decided to give a try.. I knew it would be a bright white which I wasn't fond of but figured I would give it a shot.. They are great.. I started to get the 300 watt and changed the order to 150 watt and glad I did.. Although I have it angled down it will easily cast shadows at 100 yards.. It also comes with the dusk to dawn option which I got and works perfect... so far... Very very pleased with these lights. If you are looking to light up the yard, shop and cars this is the ticket. Just wish I could find and orangish cover to give that easy glow..

I've been using halogen lights for more years than I can remember, also having to buy halogen bulbs every month by the six packs.I'm in the paint and drywall profession for 41 years now, going through lights isn't cheap.And the issues of the halogen bulbs being hot when I'd shut them all off give me even more concerns.I don't like leaving my job sites even when one halogen is still a fire hazard . They are extremely hot 15 minute after shutting them off.I like saving my time , my money, and peace of mind when I leave my sites.After looking into my best options I could that LED Lighting is my only option.I needed to light up a large area of my work spaces without a fire hazard.I decided to go with this LED light which really makes a huge difference in seeing things and the LED lights don't get hot at all.I can just unplug it and put the lights away without the fire hazards I worried about with halogens..I will rate these lights at a 5 star for all my applications

If your the kind of person who likes to actually see thing in the middle of the night this light is the answer! This thing is like the gates of Heaven opening up every time you flip the switch to this blinding piece of art. This light makes night time the middle of the day, no other way to put it. The 40,500 lumens is casting shadows 250ft+. So if you want to have a trusted high quality, well built, and completely overkill light for your home, Get this. Just dont look up considering your eye balls start melting. Getchy one!

This is a well built light.Yes, it’s made in China, but it’s built much better than the typical Chinese-made trash. Yes, it’s more expensive, but at least you won’t have to replace in a couple months. In this case, you actually get what you paid for.

It works great as advertised, big and heavy but easy to install. I got the 450Watt for my backyard and it looks like a ball park. I have had this product for a couple months, I can’t tell a difference on my electric bill. Thanks for a great product that is well built and works perfect.

Just as described rugged quality made light!Like everything about these lights: modern appearance, rugged commercial grade housing and mounting bracket,great brightness color, each delivers plenty of light, great price too Installed 7 of them at church parking lot. Have a lot of great feedbacks from church members. We had Morsen LED’s before these which don’t even come close to these in brightness and quality.The only thing i can’t speak of is longevity but we have 5 year warranty in case anything goes wrongAn update: 4 years later every one of our 5 lights work as they should with no issues. I think this could speak for some of you about decent reliability of these lights . We’re considering to buy some more of these…

This Light is BRIGHT!. Nice light, well made and extremely bright. I ordered mine and received it shortly after (within 4 days). The light can be used portable, when wired with the supplied 3 prong cord or it can be mounted to your home and hard wired. I have a large front yard (1 acre) and this light seriously lit it up. It stayed cool, very nice light. The only thing that I would recommend, that should be supplied with this light, that wasn't is a color code chart (LED to typical home or 110 wiring) to attach the DIY 3 prong cord extention. Due to the power, neutral and ground wires being a different color on each.
