16pcs HQProp Ethix S4 Prop Lemon Lime 5x3.7x3 Tri-Blade Propeller 5 Inch Props for RC FPV Drone Quadcopter

I race and part of racing is crashing. I am not that good at racing but great at crashing, so I have tested these to the limit and although they are very light, they are also very durable. There is something to be said about the weight. Having light weight increases your acceleration and drastically improves your stability. I tested a quad with heavier props and it wobbled a little in the air. Using these with the same settings keeps the quad level and true to the inputs you give it. I have tested the S3, S4, and S5. I don't think I have actually broken one. Usually I replace them because they get nicks in them or they bend. I have also flown the iFlight ones and they are great also, yet I would have to say the Ethix brand are just a little more durable than those. If there is one complaint (not a big deal) but you are restricted to the colors you can get for the different sizes. Some sizes come with a 2 color scheme but the S5s (5040) come only in grey.

I like the color and pitch of blades. Match my Skitzo frame perfectly! Put them on my T- Motor also

Great price point super durable great for practice easy to bend back when bent, the pitch on these is the perfect middle ground between super aggressive/race and chill cruising. Definitely a big step up in my opinion from the peanut butter jelly ones, which I personally, considering my fly style That is freestyle and pretty aggressive, cannot stand...so these are my go-to's for sure.

I tried these on my Freestyle 6S Nazgul and my racing 4S Sporthawk 5 with terrible results. When these props spin up above 50% throttle they make a very loud humming sound which is the props cavitating. Thought maybe my 6S was a bit too much but even on my 4S that same terrible, loud pitch was there. Aside from the prop cavitation they gave me huge amounts of prop wash, I'd do a simple yaw spin to turn around and my quads would drifting backwards a few feet everytime from the prop wash. Once I put my Azure props back on they flew like the absolute demons I know they are. So in summary, maybe these props would work on a lighter build, under 250g with less power because these can't handle a 4/6S. They're very thin, floppy and bendy which is good for durability, but for hard flying, no good at all. Was expecting a much better product from Mr Steele, highly disappointed.

Trying to see if they are hype or actually better. so far its not just hype. they're lighter than any prop i have at my disposal and can feel them spool up faster than all of the props i own. they are quite durable as well. Would love to have mroe "bite" in corners but these are a freestyle and efficiency geared prop so i understand.

Love these props, but I think I got a bad batch of green props last time. Most of them kept snapping for nothing.This is something ethix props hasnt done for me before.
