It's only when Amazon prompt me to review my past purchases that I realise what a load of complete junk I've collected over the years. I don't even remember buying half of it, and the half that I do remember buying, I can't imagine why I ever thought it was a good idea. And that brings me neatly to the subject of these owls.These aren't the kind of things that I'd normally buy, and they would normally be filed under 'useless tat' in any objective list of possessions, but they were actually purchased for my 10-year old (at the time) son, who loves this kind of thing. They now sit on his windowsill, not doing anything particularly useful but (to my great surprise) they _are_ incredibly satisfying to look at. They're also very tactile if you pick one up.They're also just the right balance between amusing, cute and making a serious point. Obviously, as a parent, you can use these owls as a teaching instrument about the concept behind the three wise... well, monkeys actually. But I'm so glad these aren't monkeys. I wouldn't want to look at monkeys every day. Not that there's anything wrong with monkeys as such, but owls are so much nicer. And if anything's going to be wise, it's an owl. Although flying around at night and tearing small mammals apart with your beak isn't a life choice that says 'wise' to me, so I can't be sure. Well, that's a discussion for another time and place. These owls look wise anyway. Recommended.

Gifted this to my sister in law for Christmas. Upon opening discovered 3 of the same "hear no evil" owls. Found it incredibly funny as we are both hard of hearing. Contacted seller and a replacement is being sent. 5 stars as the figures are very cute and great quality and the swap is hastle free (hoping the next three will be correct)Thank you for the giggles!

I purchased these wee owls for our holiday let Glen Muir Lodge in the Highlands of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿They sit proudly in the bathroom that had a few redundant shelves and make people smile which is just perfect! The are well made and have weight to them. You will see their size from the photo.Well worth the purchase!

Great ornaments for a Harry Potter crazy fan. These look cute day on the TV cabinet. These are not very big but this adds to their appeal. My step-daughter and her partner are super happy to receive these.Excellent returns service. The first set that arrived were damaged but after sending a message via Amazon, a replacement set was received the next day, even before I had chance to return the originals.

I used to have these owls but stacked up on top of each other, but I prefer these individual owls. They look lovely next to my plants
