The problem with this cat tree was evident from the opening of the box. The smell was overwhelming either from the fabric or the glue that was used to fasten it down. Most likely the glue. II decided to go ahead and assemble it. The nosey cat came over and did a double take and backup after smelling it and from that point on would have nothing to do with the tree. After assembling it, I put in front of a fan and let it blow on it. It smelled up the house so bad I moved the tree and fan outside to let it air out. after a full day, a lot of the smell is gone but if you get close to it that smell is still there. And the cat will lave nothing to do with it. I put her favorite treats on it and in it and put her on it, she jumps right off. I tried catnip, same result. Manufactory should use different glue or much less.

The top is not soft or padded. There is a screw right in the middle of the top enclosure which I think prevents my cats from sitting in it.. All the screws are visible which makes it look tacky. The scratching posts began to come apart within a couple of days. I don't usually complain about products but I would not recommend purchasing this. It is a very cheap product.

I have 1 not-very active cat so it’s not a matter of him being rough on it. The bed on top is very hard, no padding for your pet to rest on and the cushion around the top is starting to hang below the bed. I’m very disappointed with this purchase.

My cats love this and it looks nice but you're going to need a glass er two of wine and a lot of patience to assemble by yourself. Each little house has to have four poles screwed into each corner with a tiny Allen wrench. But after the annoying part, you get to watch your cats climb and scratch on the cat condo and not your sofa or the dog...worth it!

Top seat has bent - cat only 11 lbs. Need to put something protective on it too because hard to clean. Think these cat trees are too expensive,

It's ok for quality but not better then the grey one I already had which fabric feels thicker. I needed an extra tree house downstairs, does a good job holding up so far.

Great product. Very sturdy. Kitty took to the scratching posts. He's pretty big, so he doesn't fit too well in the cubes, but its fun to watch him try.

Much smaller and less sturdy than I expected. One of my cats like it, the other doesn't trust it. It sways some.
