Good grip but not the softest feel ever
Good grip but not the softest feel ever. If you combine these with the right bike gel gloves than you'll have the right set-up. Trying to hold on to these for 30 minutes on the curvy intermediate trail would wear your bear hands even with a full suspension MTB. Other than that, I used them for 30 miles of riding so far and the way I see it. They are well designed, look nice on any bike and pretty much deserve 25 bucks a paid. I wish they came with an additional set it caps and clamps for let's say another 5 bucks ( I mean these parts wear when you are on any trail, nobody uses kick stands these days and dealing with nature is always harsh on the elements) . Also both Crank Brothers Cobalt Grips. I should say there are pluses and minuses, but Troy Lee Design is the way to go if you need performance or design. Simple to install (everything snaps together, if it doesn't fit the gentle way press a bit harder), good quality materials, great performance.

Incredible
I replaced my original 2007 Specialized grips with these. The old ones were worn smooth and rotated which wasn't reassuring. These new grips are amazing. The rubber almost feels like glue. You can actually feel your fingers stick to them. The raised rubber ends are super for keeping your hands centered on the grips.FITTING INSTRUCTIONSIt would be nice if there were even minimal instructions with them. It wasn't obvious which way around they fitted until I started watching YouTube videos. There is an L or R stamped on the rubber end to let you know which is the left and right grip. The 4 metal clamps are all machined the SAME so it doesn't matter which one gets fitted where. You'll therefore end up with one screw facing forwards and one screw facing backwards on each grip. The "Troy Lee Designs" logo is supposed to face the FRONT of the bike and be horizontal. Fit the clamps based on this knowledge such that the open ends of the clamps are at the bottom, under the handle bars. Push the end caps into the outer clamp BEFORE the grip is slid onto the handlebars. This will ensure you push the grips on far enough but not too far. They also need to be fitted before you tighten the screw on the clamp.CheersJohn

Secure and comfortable
I installed these on my Specialized Crosstrail hybrid bike, and they work great with or without gloves. The grips are very grippy and comfortabl—they don’t leave a mark on the hands like some other ones. Installation was easy but make sure to do it in the right order because it’s hard to remove them. Highly recommend.

Potentially my new favourite grip.
So before this my favourite grip had to be Lizard Skin Peatys, now it is a tie with more so me looking at how long it takes me to wear down the TLDs to really make the choice. Though when I look at it, the TLD plus a replacement set of grips alone would be equivalent of a Peatys purchase. So as far as I have gone with it I love it, didn't think that the points on the end would be as big of a deal as they are, but with me riding a lot more at night they are super and I couldn't see riding without them. The grips itself hold up really well in the dry and as good as a pair of Peatys in the wet with bare-hands. Before these I had some standard OURY grips that I absolutely couldn't stand and caused me to have a let of hand fatigue and that was just not a choice and as winter came in riding no handed 95% of the time was not going to be either so I had to find a pair and these have done great for eliminating my hand fatigue as well.TLDRPros:Comfortable for my long fingers and not so spongy that it causes hand fatigue due to my grip style.Works great wet or dryLock-onCons:(Potential) I have been told they do not have as long of a life as a pair of Lizard Skin PeatysThoughts:The lips on the edge are a great hand guide at night to guess hand orientation and could be useful for stopping hand grip on harder trails. Also keep in mind I am riding a hybrid MTB built for commuting and light trails.

Nice and Griptastic but Less Durable than Expected
Nice grippy & sticky grips. Thin and no cushion but feels great with and without gloves. Sweat doesn't seem to cause any big loss of grip so ++ there.I dropped my bike on a single track and maybe one of the grips hit a root because the end of one of them now has a cut. It's not noticeable while riding but I did notice it when I was inspecting my bike one day. Kind of disappointing but since the damage doesn't affect functionality I'm mostly indifferent.Would recommend.

Grip
Seriously the grippiest grips I have ever owned. Feels like my hands are glued to the handlebars.
