CHEFS Electrolytic Cleaning Plate

I used this plate to remove heavy tarnish from a sterling silver chainmaille necklace that I had used Liver of Sulfur to oxidize. Using boiling water and Arm&Hammer washing soda along with this electrolytic plate and several rounds (probably 7 or 8) my necklace was completely clean of oxidation. Never dreamed it would work...but it did. But boiling water and washing soda is a must. Baking soda doesn't work as far as I'm concerned. You couldn't do this with silver jewelry that has pearls, gems or beads though..it would likely ruin or crack them.

Product removes tarnish with no chemicals or other products. Works great.

This amazing metal plate, along with warm water and Arm and Hammer Washing Powder, helped me clean all of my silver in less than half the time. It cleans the tarnish off immediately and thoroughly. No polishing and no rubbing. A real plus to see how well it works! Just be careful not to scratch the silver on the edges of the small holes in the plate.

I used this to clean all my silver jewelry at one time, using the Arm and Hammer Washing Soda, and it was practically a miracle how fast everything was it's sparkling self!! I should have had this year's ago! Keep in mind if you have jewelry with Diamond cuts you will need to use a soft toothbrush to get the residue out of nooks and crannies. That's nothing compared to having to polish those areas! I HIGHLY recommend this!

Followed all of the directions and ended up having to polish all of the silver by hand. Not a good purchase

I used this according to directions to clean some old flatware and it did take off some tarnish but I still had to clean every piece. Maybe this would have been good for some lightly tarnished pieces but to me it wasn't worth it. It didn't perform the claimed magic.

This is simply amazing. My mother had bought it years ago and uses it still. It saves me hours and hours of polishing. I put it in a large plastic container in the kitchen sink and it works very quickly. Used it on all my silver utensils, tea set and serving pieces that were all old wedding gifts! Now I'll use them all more often!

I've had one of these for years and have given them as gifts. It' surprising how well they work! Very simple and safe to use. Cleans rings, ear-rings, watches, watchbands, any silver without scrubbing or abrasives. Just put the plate in a container with hot soapy water, let it soak and tarnish melts away.
