A really good entry level gaming laptop
This is a fairly solid build, the only downside is there is a little flex on the lid but this does not detract from the rest of the machine, the screen is antiglare which is good for me as i sit in a room where there is lighting behind me.The keyboard is nice and tactile with an adjustable brightness and the key press is solid not spongyThis version came with an SSD and a physical harddrive so you can have a fast boot and operating software and somewhere to store your games, the graphics are a GTX1660ti in this version, although not top end it is a good mid range card. The only thing i do not like is that it comes with only 8Gb of installed memory RAM, this is fast becoming the minimum required for modern and upcoming titles, although this is easily fixed by purchasing a higher denomination of RAM and installing it yourself, or getting somewhere like a PC repair shop to do this for you if you are not confident with removing the back of the machine. So all in all this is a good solid entry level machine that will run approx 97% of games out today and as i have said above can run more if you upgrade the RAM to 16Gb

Great Value Better Performance
I LOVE the laptop, its perfect. Obviously, its not top of the line specs but for the value of money comparing to a lot of other gaming laptops, this is great. I mainly play Rainbow Six: Siege. On Ultra high settings I get over 100FPS. I did upgrade the RAM to 12GB not because I needed it, but just to ensure that it stays fast. Windows installed on the SSD is a great advantage because it is able to load up really fast. I would absolutely recommend it to a person who likes to play Mid Tier games, don't expect to play the likes of AC Odyssey on Ultra settings and expecting to get over 60FPS, you'd be lucky to get 40FPS. To people who want to play Apex or Siege or those sorts, its perfect.

DOES NOT HAVE SOLID STATE DRIVE
DOES NOT HAVE SOLID STATE DRIVE. This means that, despite all its other great features, it is not fast enough to play games such as Fortnite (which is what my son wanted it for). We didn't discover this until he started using it to play games and found it far too slow. We then checked the spec. Amazon did let us return it due to being mis-sold, and we have replaced it with a different laptop which does have SSD.

4/5 Good budget gaming laptop
My specs: i7 1660ti 8gb RAM. Works like a charm on almost every game out there (1080p ultra 60+ fps), sound is good but nothing special, however there is an issue with a slight delay on microphones (unsure if a realtek driver issue or a port issue) I tried reinstalling/updating drivers/changing driver to Microsoft high def driver but didn't fix whatsoever. The laptop itself I assume had a faulty battery/power supply as after downloading and bench-marking several games the laptop shutdown and did not turn back on, hence I had to purchase it again and send the faulty one back for a full refund. I would recommend anyone with a £1000 budget to purchase this laptop (with the same specs as listed), only issue it there isn't a thunderbolt port so it isn't 100% future proof but should last a 3 years probably more.

Very nice for gaming and regular use
Had this for a while now, mostly easy set up but windows 10 makes it tricky. That isn't acers fault however. The laptop itself is very nice. I have had few issues with it bar a couple of tweaks I wanted to make that I am currently trying to figure out how to do to personalise it better. The only issues I had really were with Windows 10. It's a nice size laptop for me, I like the design. The only problem with the design is the trackpad is a little weak but I have a wireless mouse so it's not really a problem for me. The SSD is very fast and nice to have. It runs games just fine. I have tried mostly old games however. I tried Elder Scrolls Online and had some soft crashes to the title screen but I think that's a Bethesda issue. Overall very positive and exactly what I needed.

Great gaming laptop 🔥🔥🔥
I have the i5 9300h and gtx 1660 ti and i can say that 98% of the most graphic demanding games you can run them maxed out.Games like (GTA 5/Forza Horizon 4/Nfs Payback/Ride 3/BF5/Ace Combat 7 etc) runs maxed out 60 fps+.The heat is good cpu around 75-80c and gpu 68 after long gaming sessions.Yes you can undervolt the cpu and apply some thermal paste on cpu+gpu and have a cooling pad under it and you good to go.Love it for the price.

Excellent
Misleading advertising, very slow. Not a good gaming laptop for beginners because you need to upgrade it due to performance (lags and very slow). Not worth spending this much if you also need to upgrade Ram and Upgrade to SSD. Would recommend getting another laptop with SSD if you are a beginner.

good value for money, title slightly misleading, fans can be slightly loud.
product is great however title is slightly misleading the 1660 ti version infact comes with i5 processor not i7. apart from that great little laptop!
